    Barrara v Peden

On Sept 17 Barrara is going to fight Robbie Peden. First off, I see know way, outside a lcky punch, (I doubt Barrara will drop his hands and let him have a fee shot) that Peden can win.

Second, Why is this fight a PPV. One of the major problems with boxing right now is the fact that there are way to many PPV fights.

Wow, it's on PPV? And I thought they had learned their lesson after Fana. Seriously, wtf is with HBO? They are literally giving away their domination in boxing telecasts to Showtime which is producing excellent fights not on PPV. Now with this boxing on the first Saturday of every month, HBO seriously needs to catch up. I'm also enjoying Showtimes commentators a lot more because it seems they don't argue at all, at times I thought HBO's commentators were better cause of their differences though that could have changed in my opinion. I realize I'm just hearing all this arguing while I'm watching an intense exchange or whatnot and it's just annoying. WHat you think?

Great post. that is exactly the way i feel. This is not a PPV fight. Maybe a Barrera Pacquio rematch but no Peden. The HBO guys pick a favorite and they can do no wrong. I like Lampley as a blow by blow guy but he should leave his opinions to the others. I was glad to see Kellerman on the PPV for Floyd and I hope he starts to do it more.

we shouldnt blame only hbo, remember that GBP is behind Barreras decisions.
The Fana fight wasnt ppv quality, in no way. I dont know who Peden is so I can't say really. But with enough promotion any fight can be PPV.

I hate boycotting any fight but if this is ppv this is another one of those times where you must stand up and say **** you HBO PPV, I will pay for fights but I wont pay for ****!

The undercard better be great in order for this match to be orderable.

after this fight with peden i hope barrera starts to step up his competition. hopefully he will fight paquiao, chavez, hernandez, even marquez (if he was to come up in weight) after this fight.

this is what happened to barrera before pacquiao beat him, he waas fighting average fighters who didnt even belong in the ring with him and then when he fought pacquiao he struggled.

i expect barrera to win comfortably, perhaps with a late KO
