Floyd can't make every fighter on "his" card take tests. Its a contract thing.

If it's his fight card, and he's promoting the fights, he certainly can do that.

Regardless I'm agreeing that there should be stricter rules for testing as long as Mayweather doesn't dictate who does and doesn't get tested and what those testing rules are.

Its so laughable how people think that if OSDT doesn't happen for the WHOLE sport RIGHT NOW, then they are not with it. When the news of Arthur Abraham doing this testing surfaced, the whole "no one is doing this testing" stuff was DEAD in the water. Nothing bad can come from better testing of the boxers in this sport. Well...

As the poll reflects and I think everyone will agree this is of course necessary. Whether it will happen or not is a different story because we all know how much money is at risk when people pop on these tests. I think that's the main reason you're not seeing it implemented sooner or at all.

He cant force 10 fighters on a card to take tests. Its not feasible.

Absolutely!! And I think it should also be "standardized" All state/country/organization should have the same banned substance, systems list .We can't have one body allow something that the others don't.

What do u mean as long as it dont interfere? Of course it will interfere, who would want to fight a boxer that just tested dirty before fight night. Once the stricter testing is implemented, Yes it will be a drought of fights cause the test will weed out the dirty fighters which will be almost the majority of boxers. Just think about it, people think Pacquiao is su****ious then what about the boxers that got caught that didnt even raise a red flag(JCC Jr, and Ali Funeka). Once they step it up to USDA or even 365 all year round testing, you will see all those spectacular boxers and fights we all fell in love with were just souped up animals.

Boxing should have as good a testing standard as any other sport, or even better testing, because people are putting their lives on the line and any form of cheating in this sport is dangerous. I think heavy bans should be handed out and believe that Margarito should have gotten more than a year out amongst other things.
