Joe Louis and Ray Robinson sprint to mind, those are obvious choices. I think Ray Leonard maybe too.

Ray Leonard was one of my favorite finishers.

When he smelled blood, he would throw a flurry that would often continue until the other fighter was punched into a helpless state.

Jut punch after punch after punch all with relentless and blinding speed.

But there are a lot of guys to choose from in this topic.

Of the modern day, Tito Trinidad wasnt a bad finisher as well. On a few broadcasts both HBO and Showtime commentators called him the best in the sport. He was a pretty good one

Julian Jackson...if you were hurt you were dead.

Damn I wish there was a puncher like him around today!

Prime Dempsey and Joe Louis, without a doubt, at heavyweight. No one else comes close in the division.

I think Julian Jackson was more a one-punch KO artist than a 'finisher'. Good fighter though with under-rated skills. He only ever lost to McCallum and McClellan didn't he? Nothing to be ashamed of there. And the McCallum fight Jackson was winning before premature stoppage in McCallum's favor. I think Julian was WBA 154 champ and WBC 160 champ, good fighter Remember his KO's over Norris and Graham? The guy had sick punch power in that right hand of his.
