I think Roy Jones Jr., Jim Lampley, or Al Bernstein could have represented boxing better. I could have represented boxing better than Dibella, lol. He should stick to promoting and never represent boxing to the public again. No wonder why people actually believe MMA will take over boxing.

When guys like Rogan and Dana White bash boxing, people listen because they actually know about boxing. When someone from boxing like Arum, Floyd, or Hopkins talks about MMA, they come off as arrogant and ignorant to the sport they are criticizing. Calling MMA fighters a bunch of tattooed red-neck ****sexuals comes off as immature and unprofessional. Instead of just calling MMA a bunch names "like gay ****" or "boxing for skinheads," boxing guys need to actually stand up for their sport and mention the beauty, craft, and historical value involved and why boxing will always be popular regardless of how well MMA does. I love both sports, but boxing is my favorite.
No, hes just as ignorant as Hopkins when it comes to this debate.

MMA takes less skill to win. Period.
You get one big punch in or a quick submission and you win. I've seen it happen more than half of the time.
Example being the top MMA heavyweight Fedor loses by submission to a bum after completely dominating a Werdum.
The best fighter doesn't always win in MMA.

The same can be said about boxing.

I wouldn't say MMA takes less skill, they just don't have the resistance to punches that boxers do. Its often that you see an MMA fighter get seriously rocked by one punch, he goes down, and hes jumped on. In boxing, a guy can get hit with a huge punch and stay on his feet and recover rather quickly.

I would guess thats because MMA guys train for many other techniques than just taking punches.

Boxing is a graceful olympic sport that's been around for centuries.

                  UFC is barbaric and unhuman.
                  Screw Joe Rogan.

Joe Rogan is a follower and he's also a big di** ryder..Joe use to be a tea kwon do fighter who started training in MMA..now he's talking **** against everything which has nothing to do with MMA..but I'm just wondering why he started training in MMA???? He never had a MMA fight so I don't see any difference ..he might just as well stick to tea kwon do.

And also if you check his facebook page..a month ago or so..he made a comment about african american martial artist who post their videos on youtube, he said he couldn't understand why they would do these kung fu things they're doing..BUT when one of them african americans (whos doing wing chun kung fu and who also had a MMA fight and won) confronted him on his facebook page Joe Rogan backed off like a little bi*** he is..he was like yea I didn't mean you,I've seen you fighting you're an alrite fighter bla bla bla...that dude is a worthless piece of **** who never had a MMA fight but likes to raise his opinion in every matter..**** HIM!!!!

I'm not sure who told you that it was,but there is no technique in taking a punch. You don't train to take punches.
