The way to stop this catchweight crap is for people not to buy the ppv and not go and see the fight. Once boxing fans start showing that they had enough, the greedy boxing promoters will get the point. Don't buy it, don't go see the fight, teach them a lesson. The boxers get paid with the revenue they make from the boxing fans, stand up and say enough is enough.

I think they would like Floyd to come in at a catchweight but they know Floyd (unlike Cotto) is far too smart to drain his body for no reason. Mayweather is the much bigger draw so all roads lead to him. It was different with Pacquiao fighting Cotto and Clottey, He was the bigger draw so he could demand catchweights and weight penalties. But with Floyd he isnt as big a draw so he cannot request them, Well he can request them but it wont get agreed to.
