If Cotto vs Chavez Jr happens next

What is your prediction? Say it goes down at 154 in The Estadio Azteca in Mexico city?

I say Cotto knocks him the *** out! It's way to soon for Jr to face a world class, elite opponent. I give Jr a shot now that he's with Roach, but not right now, maybe after 3 or 4 more fights.

Like another poster here said before.. by the time Jr is ready for Cotto, Cotto will be retired.
If it happens now Cotto will KO him.

I doubt very seriously it would be Jr's next fight #1 and #2 it would never go down in Estadio Azteca, Cotto won't go down there to fight.

I think there will be a couple more fights for Jr to see where he is at before making a fight like this to be honest. Right now I can't see him beating Cotto but I can say that if he can make 154 comfortably like Roach said, he would be very big and strong at that weight and that could give Cotto some trouble.

i agree with that, but it ain't like Cotto hasn't faced strong opponents before, and Jr's footwork is freakin slow so thats an advantage for Cotto. Maybe Arum will make the fight soon since he thinks Cotto is done, and has shown to not give a *** about him.

WAS slow, did you see him move against Duddy? I'm not saying he's Willy Pep now or anything but like I said, if he improved this much in 5 weeks with Roach, imagine what he will look like in a year with Roach.

There was a moment in the 12th round vs Duddy, where he threw a left hook, turned on it and then landed a right, left, right combo flush to Duddy's head.

We would have never seen those sort of angles or movement from Jr before. I think he can improve vastly because he's sot young.

            Cotto would stop him.
            But
I'd like to see the kid get a couple more fights in first. He seemed to improve greatly so why throw him to the wolves already...

That's actually a pretty good matchup. Just please, please don't put it on PPV.

Cotto puts on a boxing lesson.

                    Jab, jab...jab.

Even Duddy's jab landed at will.
