Okay by your logic, DLH should have beaten Mayweather & Pacquiao because he was in control of the negotiation and had them both mentally weakened

My gut feeling is Bob can't get Pac what he thought he could moneywise. I'm sure floyd's camp is negotiating much differently than last time when manny had much more leverage. I'm thinking Bob and Roach are just trying to make it look like floyd caused the fight to breakdown. Petty BS from Bob.

This is great fuckin news but, its Freddy talking here, I'd take it with a grain of salt.

If Manny indeed steps up to the plate then the fight is getting signed.

Conjecture, nothing but conjecture, and there is nothing to get excited about until manny is flailing around like stray cat while mayweather is running like he stole something!

Roach's statements seem pretty irresponsible. He is weakening his own side's bargaining position and possibly decreasing the chance that the fight will happen.

Roach: Manny will give in to all of Floyd's demands.

Mayweather: Roach said that Manny will give in to all of my demands. That means I don't have to compromise at all!

Because Pacquiao will agree to Mayweather's demands, including the request for random Olympic style drug testing, Roach is confident the fight with Mayweather will happen. "He fought a fighter, in Shane Mosley, that was supposed to be the most dangerous fight of his career, and Mayweather showed us that he’s the best," De La Hoya said. "Mayweather is on a different level. He’s on a different level because he’s a student of the game. He will dissect you outside the ring and finish you off inside the ring. He knows how to get in your head. He knows how to beat you mentally, then he will beat you physically."

                      -Oscar De La Hoyda

That’s when Mosley jumped into the ring last September to challenge Mayweather, who had just demolished Juan Manuel Marquez in his comeback bout from a 19-month layoff. After Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao couldn’t make a deal, Mayweather accepted a deal to fight Mosley, already confident he had a mental edge.

“Shane is out of character in this whole thing,” Mayweather said. “He doesn’t talk trash. That’s not like him to call out somebody. I think Bernard Hopkins (Mosley’s business partner) put a battery in his back and pumped him up to say those things.”

                      -Floyd Jr.

"The fight game, people don't understand, is mental," he said. "You can be strong and fast, but it's really a mental game. I think that people will just not realize that. Yeah, you can get knocked out with a hard punch, but it's really a mental game. I think, mentally, at that point of my career, you can see I wasn't on top of my game."

                      -Shane Mosley
