Vitali Klitschko does not get enough credit, Wlad gets too much

Seriously why are Klit fans comparing Wald to heavyweight greats. Wlads has wins over crusierweight Castillo, win over Peter where he was knocked down twice, light heavyweight Byrd, bum beater Calvin Borck, 36 year old Austin, beat a Brewster who was coming of a loss in his previous fight, thomson a bum beater, a shot Hashim Rahman, blown up crusierweight eddie chambers.

Only good wins he has are Chagaev and Ibragimov. Wlad still has a lot to prove.

Vitali is the much better brother who has only lost two fights. Against Lewis he did well and who knows what would have happened if he didnt get that cut. Then loss to Byrd due to a torn rotater. Vitali lost nearly 4 of his prime years to injury, comes back and still is the best heavyweight.

Vitali is twice the fighter, Wlad will ever be. Even this version of Vitali hypothetically would destroy Wlad. If you want to compare any Klitschko to Ali, tyson, Frazier etc then compare Vitali as he would be a solid contender in any generation.

Think he is ranked by most appropriately.

Vitali is the better fighter and will rank ahead of Wlad in H2H match ups and based on who was the better fighter but Wlad has achieved more and will be remembered as the greater boxer based on his achievements and reign.

That 4 years of inactivity stopped him from ranking ahead of Wlad.

Gonna start a Vitali love/Wladimir hate club?

Wlad is far more skilled technically, faster, a harder puncher and generally more athletic. Vitali is more durable, seems to have a lot more stamina, and doesn't mind mixing it up a bit in there.

I think Wlad now beats any version of big bro in a head to head match up.

I think Vitaly gets his dues but Wlad is seriously underrated by most US fans because of his losses, even though he got up from each one of his knockdowns and wanted to continue.

H2H, Vitaly is 1-5 ATG, I would only put a prime Lennox, prime Clay, prime Tyson, and prime Holmes as those that would be able to beat him, with neither of these guys being the favorite (well except Lewis and Tyson maybe).

Wlad however, has the better resume, Wlad, based on record and period of domination is already top 10 ATG, Vitaly barely makes it into the top 15 based on that alone. With more wins for each, they will move up in rankings obviously.

Both of them are great, but in different ways. I think that point has been stressed earlier in this thread.

Vitali gets more credit if anything.

Despite it being a poor era of heavyweights,Wladimir has fought and beat the greater opposition.

Vitali gets credit in more of a mythological way. Truth is no one really knows how good Vitali was or how good he ever could have been. The only fight I believe he ever truly struggled in was the Lewis fight. That was on 12 days notice, relatively early in his career and was a big leap in competition. I still think Vitali was winning and should have won that fight, but lets not bring that argument up. Vitali has never truly been beat, so we do not know what he is or isnt capable of. (yes i know he has 2 Ls, but both he was winning on the scorecard and the fight was stopped due to injury). He doesnt have the record, but its like arguing who would win prime Calzaghe vs. Prime anyone else. How can anyone argue Joe would lose...no ones seen him lose, so who knows, and prime Joe was never knocked down, same as Vitali. You can say he would lose, but how can you know how good a fighter really is/was if no one pushes him. I mean how can you argue prime joe would beat prime roy or a SR if he never fought anyone on that level? Its pure conjecture and speculation.

Wlad on the other hand is more tangible. We've seen his weakness, we know he can be hurt, beat, knocked down. We can judge him. Yeah he doesnt fight like Vitali anymore and protected his weakness, but we know his limits. Hence we can argue how he would do against other people. Vitali on the other hand is based totally on opinion.

H2H is impossible to say. Theres no one like the Klitschko's no one, so its hard to tell how Wlad would do against a man not afraid of the jab and how Vitali would do against a guy who has the speed to hit him and the size to not have to get inside.

lennox lewis voluntary defences:Botha, grant, golota,Bruno,Rahman,Tyson, vit ali....vitalis voluntaries:sosnowski, kingpin, arreola, danny Williams......can't figure how people compare these 2....it's not even close...wlad has a much better resume than vitali but neither can even be remotely compared to lennox...look at his VOLUNTARIES compared to both....lennox never took any sorties like these klit boys..

Vitali is the better boxer imo

                    Wlad is the better "athlete"

                    Vitali has natural skill
                    Wlad is incredibly well schooled

                    its swings and roundabouts.

Personally i think Vitali is better h2h and in terms of achievements.

His performance against Lewis > Wlads career
