When is Floyd going to come out and speak on it? He's been in hiding ever since Mosley, besides the make-a-wish video where he said he'd take 1 to 2 years off. Manny said he wants to fight and willing to make compromises... Where is Floyd in all this? hmm..

This fight has been promoted since it fell through, no need to rush it, the could anounce in Aug and still have time to hype the event further.

I'll tell you this, If Arum fails to make the deal , and once again puts a fight together with one of his own fighter in a week, like he did with Clottey, then clearly he never intended to make the fight happen.


I hope there's a 50/50 split and no cut off date. everyone wins.

For me it isnt a coincidence that Clottey pulled out of his fight back in December while Arum was "negotating" with GBP! And a fight with Clottey was annouced within a week after negotation fell through. I will alway maintain that Arum/Roach backtrack on the fight because they knew its better to take the fight at a later date.

I feel the same way, but what would the reason be if they match Pac with, let's say Cotto or Marg within a week of these negotiation failing? What would the excuse be? The only logical reason in my eyes would be that Arums doesn't want the biggest fighter in his stable to lose to someone he doesn't own.

What's funny is ODLH was "misquoted" per se accdg. to Schaeffer, when the former was too excited to have huge benjamins he talked about it being nearly signed.

I wasn't say so much that it's on Arum to make the fight, i just don't want him to have a fight already to be signed with his own fighter within a week of these negotations stopping, cause to me it would look like he had that plan the whole time, and no intention to make it happen with Mayweather.

Why do they keep trying to pretend like Floyd would EVER step in the ring with a man who isn't completely hopeless? No way Floyd would fight Manny Pacquiao. All this stuff is just to save face and look for excuses to not fight him. No matter what crazy excuses he pulls out, same result. Floyd ducks Manny at all costs. Manny is King. End of story.

I think this fight might already have been made. I'd be surprised if they really couldn't make a deal this time.

I wouldn't doubt it. All of this posturing by Team Pac could very well be part of the build up. We can only hope.
