Lamotta had a great chin but let's not forget he had a good 10-15 pounds on SSR in most of their fights

Most guys people will mention are guys that dont get hit too much like Mayweather but let him get hit like Margarito has gotten hit and theres no way he survives.

I mean walking through Cottos BOMBS like that is unreal
          He didn't walk through Mosley's.

He even said it himself that he had not completely recovered from the Cotto fight when he stepped in the ring with Mosley. I think that's why he's boxing a lot more now instead of brawling.

La Porte on the other hand has dealt with bombs from several legends. He went 15 rounds with Salvador Sanchez, and afterwards went 12 with JCC and Wilfredo Gomez. And even towards the end of his career he took Kosta Tszyu's best shots for 10 rounds without folding. That's four not just amazing punchers, but legendary punchers. John John Molina was also a decent puncher and he took his shots too.

Right. Laporte had a great chin and a better one than Margarito.

Hagler chin was wow.... I don't think you can go wrong with either pick.... Both guys took punches from punchers. In multiple occasions.

                  Gorilla Jones gets my vote...

                  138 fights never KO'd once.

Was only knocked down one time in 138 scraps, and that was by Freddie Steele a guy in the 30's who had a sick heavy handed left hook.

You're right that you can't go wrong either way. One Laporte fight I watch a lot is the one vs Rocky Lockridge. Laporte not known as a puncher knocked Lockridge out with a counter right hand. Beautiful punch.
