highest standard? facing a 9 loss baldomir & a 6 loss gatti was high standards?
Baldomir was the recognized champ and Gatti was seen as a huge threat at the time. Do u apply this kind of hindsight to Pac's fights?

Should Floud have moved down to 140? Marquez called out FMJ even though he was a welterwreight, did he not? How is this Floyd's fault. I'm sure that he wanted to beat the guy that many thought beat Pac.

he didnt fight the top guys at 140 in hatton, cotto, & tsyzu. same thing at 147. his fans want to think baldomir & judah where better than shane, margarito, cotto, & paul williams.
Why do u keep mentioning Cotto. Didn't he decline the fight?
Didn't Shane decline a fight as well? Why are you twisting history?
And Pac's fans want to say that that version of Cotto (who looked less than stellar), was better than Shane, the man who knocked out the man that battered Cotto. This was even after his own trainer said Shane too much of a risk. Why don't you show some semblance of fairness for a sec.

B4 his fight w/Marquez, how long was FMJ inactive? Shouldn't that have been more than enough reason for Pac to sign the contract and do what he agreed to in the first place?

gatti was seen as a threat? by who hbo who was producing the fight? big ****ing suprise. did vegas odds think so too? i think not. Dont confuse hbo propaganda with what the majority of the boxing world thinks.

Nobody thought baldomir or gatti had a chance to beat floyd. the vegas odds prove this.

marquez called out floyd? so did paul williams & margarito. It seems floyd has only ears for fighters below his division. selective hearing much?

It seems as if everybody declines floyd yet he is the cash cow? shane declined floyd? cotto declined floyd?

wait you must be talking about that larry merchant interview after the vargas fight. Did you confuse that interview as actual fight negotiation offer from floyd mayweather jr.?

show me a link of a hard offer from team mayweather that team cotto & shane denied.

show me the link where team mayweather offered a fight purse, fight venue, fight date, & fight weight to cotto & shane that they refused.

Just because you call somebody out in a interview after just finishing your most recent fight doesnt equal fight negotiations that other fighters declined.

Pac sign the contract? Sure, only if floyd didnt ask for a test never done before in the history of professional prize fighting against a lower weight fighter who he deemed as easy work & overrated.

There's a reason why floyd has a universal reputation as a scared cherry picking ducker who is afraid of losing his undefeated record.

YOU NEED TO STOP MAKING **** UP.

Ok, tell me this, HONESTLY! If u went to MOST boxing fans and gave them a list of very big fights over the decades. Would they more easily remember the winners of those fights or who was the fighter of the decade for each decade mentioned? Now apply that to the biggest fight of all time and then tell me what 99% of the people will be thinking about. If you can't give the correct answer to this one, then, u really should be rethinking the "dense" comment.

now you're pursuing a tangent...you want me to give you the thoughts of 99% of boxing fans IF Floyd beats PAC? alright dude...there really is no argument with your point

if Floyd beats PAC, then he was the better man that night...it doesnt mean he was the better fighter in the previous decade...like i told Larry, FOTD has a criteria which bases its award on body of work

no need to rethink my assumption that floyd fans are dense...this thread and the inability of some of you to differentiate a decade award with a potential matchup proves it

the title of FOTD was already awarded, it will not be on the line when PAC-PBF go down

I don't set higher standards on him. I want him and every other fighter to fight the best fighters in their weight classes. He sets a higher standard for himself by running his mouth all the time. Can't do that and not expect to be called on it.

Just his resume. I wrote a response post to the one you wrote but I deleted it and just rather ask you.

I notice you rag on Floyd alot but I dont see that same type of passion and aggression for guys like Pac who kind of does the same thing Floyd does.

Im just saying you can pick aart anybodies resume but I only see you pick apart Floyds and Chad Dawson.
