Herbie had good hand speed for a Heavyweight, I watched him in his first ever amateur tournament (ABA's in I think it was 89) and for someone who had never competed before his hand speed and confidence impressed me, but he controversially lost to Henry Akinwande in the final and then turned pro straight after. Yeah, not a bad fighter Herbie in the 90's.

Whatever his hand speed he's got **** for brains.. Told this story in another post, but I met him with a mate who had a Public Enemy T-Shirt on, to which Herbie questions if it says 'Reebok'?! Me and my mate both just had this kind of shocked expression on our faces and replied negative. Followed by an embrarresed silence.
