All Duddy brought to the table was a damn good beard. He has about zero punching power so he couldn't keep Chavez off him. But one thing I'll say for Duddy, he rolls his head with the punches and I guess that takes away a lot of the punches effect, just like Roberto Duran used to do back in the day. With only 18 kos knoched on his belt I figured Duddy was going to be in tough with Chavez. Some folks might see this fight as a measuring stick that says Chavez is ready for a bigger step up, but for me the jury is still out on him. He's been brought along very slowly with weak competition which has his record looking good with no losses and lots of kos. But I want to see him in there with some of the 160 pound top guys, like Paul Williams or Cotto.

Chavez's won it 118-110 and thats being nice.....he just took brutal punches all night ans only hurt chavez once
Yeah Jr. dropped some bombs but Duddy - in the beginning - was landing some flashy combinations that made Jr. look limited, thus I gave Duddy the 4 rounds. But a complete shutout is ****. Jr. looked like Trinidad in the late rounds (not comparing Jr. to Trinidad in terms of legacy but similar forms at various moments, calm the fck down boriquas).

Not yet he wouldn't furry fella.

On the evidence of this fight compared to Canelo's last outing..... Jnr may be further along than Canelo. Canelo's got the skills, but he aint hurting Jnr, and I don't wanna see Canelo faced with getting hit like that for 10 rounds just yet.

Saul needs more time, don't be in such a hurry to break your new toy

sounds like a good fight, have to see this ...

I agree with you bro, freddy is really something and needs to be factored, I think fighters now really believes and have faith with Freddy, multiplying the benefits of coaching & training...
