chavez fought good, best i have seen him..the full of shiat quote goes to arum during the postfight interview "anybody, anytime" in regards to whats next for chavez.
LOL, not to mention Arum talking about how Chavez Sr. wouldn't have survived against Duddy. I mean, whether he believes that or not, the guy and his son are both in attendance.
they both looked better than i ever thought they could.
fighters beware the freddy factor is real.chavez looked so much
tougher than i thought he was, duddy was durable good combos early
but jjc's conditioning was superior he turned it up for sure
I didn't know it was supposedly Pacquiao who convinced Jr. to go train at the Wildcard Gym, who knew....
Jr. has proven that he is able to defeat a tough as nails and determind fighter, but Jr. is faaar from world class elite and should still be climbing the ladder, not fighting just sluggers. Martinez kills Jr., finds a way to bring em back to life and kills again. Roach did his homework, I'll give em that.
120-108 was fcking bogus, that guy was clearly influenced by the noise in that arena since every time Chavez smiled the crowed cheered. I scored it 116-112 and I tried to convince myself to give some rounds to Duddy, but 116-112 I think is definitely fair.
116-112? No way. Duddy was could have won a couple in the very beginning but its hard for judges to give Duddy a round when hes taking bomb after bomb and getting hurt on several occasions
Chavez's won it 118-110 and thats being nice.....he just took brutal punches all night ans only hurt chavez once
Damn, I knew the fight was gonna be good but wow, that was badass. Only 4 weeks of preparation with Freddie and it did wonders, can't imagine what a year would do.
