Its not gonna happen. Arum isn't ****** enough to put him in the ring with a young, hungry and skilled fighter like Peterson when he's at the end of his career. They better strip him of that WBC belt so Peterson and someone else can fight for it.

Even if he doesn't fight Ant, he better at least fight Marquez. That would be a HUGE fight in Mexico, and a chance to unify all the titles.

So then Guzman's best win is over a bus driver?

Bro the plan for Soto is already laid out. Him and Barrera are gonna fight for that same WBC belt at 135 and that is why Peterson is getting frozen out. A HOF mexican fighter fighting another Mexican fighter sells a lot more than some unknown prospect. And all Barrera has to do is win tonight. Not saying it's fair. But it is what it is.

The rematch with Funeka was Guzmans best win imo.

I would be inclined to say that too. But it's tainted though even if Funeka cheated himself.

One came in overweight, the other one cheated to be on the limit. In this case Guzman wasn't the cheat, at least. I honestly rather come in overweight(and have the permission to fight without the belt on the line) than not fight at all or cheat my way down to the weight limit.
