It is good offense. When your opponent double the amount of punches total you throws, and you still somehow lands more total punches, that's not just good offense, it's brilliant offense. Less is more.

        "just counter punching"

First off 15 punches is an extreme exaggeration. Secondly its called ACCURACY. Throwing alot of punches doesn't mean you are this offensive monster.

Did you start watching Floyd in 2007? Go back and watch some tapes.
What kind of Offense are you talking about??? his Lead Right?? Hopkins has the Same lead Right hand. and throws is just as accurately. Doesn't mean Hopkins is great offensively? They just pick there shots in a defensive matter which is COUNTER PUNCHING.

Willie Pep and Sweet Pea had a better defense than Floyd anyway.

Ray Leonard as a pure boxer is overrated. But, his brawling fighting skills are underrated.

And, IMO the top 3 greatest defensive fighters of all time are Pep, Whitaker, and Locche any order you want. But, those 3 are the top 3 all time.

Skill wise is not just defense btw. Duran was greatly skilled, Armstrong greatly skilled, SRR greatly skilled, They were not defensive wizards but they were just as skilled as any other fighters that you could name. They just have different styles.

That is all I wanted to contribute in this dumbass thread. Carry on...

You asked me what does Floyd do BETTER than SRR and SRL.

I said he has better defense.

Do you agree : Yes or No?
We are talking about skills OVERALL. You said FLoyd has a better defense. So does many other fighters. Doesn't mean they are more skilled OVERALL then SRR or SRL.
              am i right or wrong?

even floyd himself has stated he would never take punishment in a fight. So he isn't a warrior in my opinion. Warriors go for the kill or kill or be killed. Floyd doesn't fight like that. So therefore he is not a warrior. he is a fighter.

Hopkins has the same lead right Floyd does? No he doesnt...lol. Do you even weatch Floyd or are you just acting like a know it all.

Hopkins throws his lead right with his head down and falls into you with a hold or headbutt.

Floyds throws squared up and sharp right into his opponent then he shoots it again or gets out the way.

                    Floyd has :

                    A GREAT leaping left hook.

                    A GREAT jab.

                    A GREAT right hand.

                    A GREAT body punching arsenal.

How many Floyd fights have you seen bro?
