Floyd has one of the best defenses in boxing history behind Sweet Pea and Locche.

Locche is debateable. Sweet Pea isn't.

Floyd and Pernell both fought during the compubox era. Floyd has the record for least punches landed against. Since defense is basically not getting hit. The fact that Floyd has the record for least punches landed against during the compubox era, Floyd has a better defense. Pernell's is more entertaining though.

even floyd himself has stated he would never take punishment in a fight. So he isn't a warrior in my opinion. Warriors go for the kill or kill or be killed. Floyd doesn't fight like that. So therefore he is not a warrior. he is a fighter.
