Is David Haye a waste of talent?

Haye has fast hands for his size and really good power but he is utterly wasting it, he never fights anymore and is not willing to take on the top fighters of his division. Lack of activity is going to kill him in the end and he is going to get stopped by someone he shouldnt. He also seems to be annoying outside the ring these days and is more intrested in the fame than the fighting.

i wouldn't call someone that has won world titles a wasted talent

i watched his fight with mormeck the other day great fight pitty the cruiserweight division isn't more packed with stars because he really should be fighting at that weight

he's just not big enough to take on a klitschko and win although ideally that's the plan he doesn't want to get in there and embarass himself though i understand that

i like to see him in there with arreola, tua or adamek those would be good fights not enough money there though unfortunately

His real talents could've shone at CW, had he stayed. Fights with Adamek, Cunningham and others would've really gone some way to proving his worth at the weight, as well as setting up a better introduction to HW than the rush-job he did with Barrett.

He's gone about things all wrong in terms of legacy, but he obviously doesn't give a **** about that.

At cruiserweight he did well beat the top guy in the division in France and then unified against Enzo, but since moving to heavyweight he has not really backed up what he says and his lack of activity is awfull, it will catch up with him one day.

Didn't Haye have trouble making the cruiserweight limit?

I would say he's a waste of space, Because this is the time for him to go after those fights that he promise to go after, He said he wasnt going to waste his time/space fighting bums..Well David what do you call Harrison then? Glorified bum?

TBH i am not so sure if that is 100% true or not anymore, Haye did struggle a bit to make weight but he looked in great shape for the Enzo fight. If he had stayed in the gym more and not gone out partying he probably could have been ok at the weight. He could have had fights with Cunningham and Bell followed by Adamek but i think he didnt want to risk lossing so he moved up to get the big money fights.

Haye kept telling us he will be a "different" kind of HW, he kept comparing himself to the likes of Louis and Dempsey. He kept telling us he won't let business and boxing politics get in the way, he will just seek the biggest fights that the fans REALLY want to see.

So far it was just a huge waste of time and yes, talent.
