I like this site 100% more than boxrec already. Crud, over there you'd think David Haye was the next coming of Christ himself. I was even banned for calling him a coward. (Which he is!) I hope somehow Audley pulls of the miraculous and knocks Haye's block off, but you know that isn't going to happen. He's just another body to feed the hype machine. Shame on David Haye.

Does anyone actually believe that Haye will do an about face and fight an opponent who is ranked in the Top 25 in the World?

I don't even know how he is allowed to face Harrison without getting stripped.

I thought that even in the case of an optional defense the opponent still had to be rated in the Top-15 of the WBA's rankings, which Harrison is not.

Not only is Haye probably gonna make 25% of what he would fighting Klitschko but he is probably gonna spend 10's of thousands of dollars paying off the WBA to rank Harrison.

I actually found the answer and the official WBA rule is;
C. Championship Fights
C 8. Title Matches. An Association title can only be obtained as the result of a match duly authorized by the Championships Committee. Unless otherwise approved under rules C.46
– C.49, only boxers rated by the Association are eligible to fight in sanctioned contests

To much time? It took me a whole three minutes to find the answer at the WBA's official web site. And at least I am willing to check the facts before I speak. And you my friend can't make that claim. Because you are the one who claimed Haye was the undisputed cruiser champ, did you not? So, all I can say is that I am sorry if the truth hurts your little baby feelings. Because to me when someone starts throwing around insults it is a sign that something struck a nerve and they no longer have anything intelligent to say. Than again I stand corrected.
