I'm not interested in Pac-Berto and definitely not interested in Pac-Margarito. Only a Pac nuthugger of the highest order would support the latter.

In a Manilla newspaper yesterday Arum stated he believes there will be a decision regarding a Pac-May fight by the end of the week. I sure as **** hope I'm wrong, but it's pretty clear in my mind that Freddie wants the fight, Arum wants the fight, but I don't think Manny wants any part of Floyd. My guess is Manny was very insulted that the Mayweather's have put him on the defensive regarding PED's, and has come to the conclusion that there is not another fighter on the planet that gets Floyd a fraction of the money that a fight with Pac gets him. Manny knows this, and for personal reasons, he doesn't want Floyd to get paid. At the same time, I suspect there's some Philipino politicians advising Manny not to take a fight that could destroy his aura of invincibility...Money? - I don't think that even plays into Manny's decisions anymore. When you're in the parliament of a third world country with strong ties to the west, the money available to be skimmed is exponentially higher than some boxing purse...IMF, World Bank, and countless other nefarious opportunities for enrichment sounds a whole lot better than a tough, bruising fight with Floyd which he could very possibly lose. Nah, the hero of Asia has bigger fish to fry when it comes to making that paper, and it's called US Aid.

Videos/articles out there of manny calling floyd out say otherwise. Biggest payday of his career.. why wouldn't he want this fight? Manny is retiring soon anyways he has nothing to lose.

Why not? Is that really your question. The way you guys ripped Shane after the Mayweather fight, now ya'll want to see Shane fight Manny. Again, for what reason exactly?

What makes you think Manny vs Shane will be a good fight, considering Floyd completely dominated the guy?

Yes, that's obvious man. Promoters are all pretty much crooked ****s.[/QUOTE]

Yea, you don't have to tell me.

If he loses to Floyd, he loses his status as baddest man on the planet - that's a lot to lose. As I stated above, there's so much international dollars to be skimmed, I doubt a dangerous payday in the ring is as attractive to the newly elected congressman.

You already know manny has been calling out floyd man. But at the end of the day, he is the FIGHTER. He FIGHTS whoever is put in front of him. But there is no denying he wants floyd. Here's just one of those videos.

                    Floyd calling out Manny

Manny responded after the Hatton fight in '09 at 1:10 mark.

"His time is past already.. it's my turn.." LOL!

I didn't rip shane prior to the fight, so I understand why Floyd fought him. He was still a dangerous fighter. However, after seeing the fight you can see he wasn't near his best. Just calling it like I see it man. I wouldn't mind seeing a good fight. That's the bottom line. I would just enjoy that my favorite fighter is still giving the fans what we want.. a fight.

To be real man, Manny and Floyd have different styles. Floyd being more defensive, slick, etc.. While Manny is more offensive, though improved his defense, is still there to be hit. Shane rocked Floyd with those shots and I it's not out of the question that this could happen to manny. However, I think manny would punish shane and get a possible stoppage.. just my opinion.

Agreed. I just can't wait for this fight to be signed. Too much money at stake.

You have to be offered something in order to agree.
