I'm thinking if floyd manny doesn't happen Manny should fight Berto. I just don't think he can fight another Top Rank guy and generate public interest outside of boxing fans.

I don't know. I think mainstream US fans want to see Manny fight a guy who would actually try to beat him at a traditional weight (no catchweight). I think a Berto fight if marketed properly could sell.

Coach Webb I disagree. Another top rank guy would be a bad business move. I think Manny marg or Manny Cotto 2 (at 150) will not sell as much as manny cotto 1. I think Bob knows he hurt the negotiating position for Manny by putting him in the Clottey fight. The fight ******. The large crowd (we later found out) paid little or nothing to watch the fight (not a large live gate). The announcers did everything possible to make the fight enetertaining but got killed for it (**** ****).

As a Pacquiao fan I could care less how much money he makes, just as long as the fight is exciting. Margarito vs Pacquiao has FOTY written all over it, so of course I would wanna see it. If it only does 400K buys and is FOTY and a modern day classic.....then It's a win in my book.
