I wonder what your opinion on Mayweather vs Mosley was then? Margarito attempted to cheat, while Mosley admitted he cheated in a few of his bout. Ironically enough though, you Floyd ****riders don't bring that up yet slam Margarito. I get it though, as long as it involves Floyd it's OK.

No, I don't see him fighting Berto. But, Arum will feed him another Top Rank fighter and hype it up and they will buy it.

And floyd will fight another aged lightweight, bring him up 2 divisions and not make weight. Or Fight a 38 yr old fighter who's been out of the ring for a year and a half... lol

Ugh part of me hates the idea of plasterito gettign away with fighting again and getting paid, after that stunt he tried to pull with mosley, and with cotto, cause i bet he did cheat int hat fight too, but another part of me prefers to let him fight so that he can get his behind kicked...again. pacquiao vs plaster I DONT WANNA C, pacs and floyd both of u man up and make the fight happen! i prefer to see margs vs cotto 2, but this time cotto should be the one who wraps margs gloves just to be in the safe side...

No way does Haymon allow Manny to weasel out of a Floyd fight and then give him Berto. Don't see that happening.

Berto is a nobody. Atleast Margarito has proven himself to be elite. Can we say the same about Berto? I think not

I don't believe Shane anymore than I believe Marg. Ultimately, Shane apologized and admitted his use. Margarito has never done that. GBP acknowledged Shanes use. Bob Arum went along with Margarito even telling the US media he belived Marg when he said he didn't know. I get the point your making. I thought Shane should be tested for every fight after he admitted using. I think Margarito should be suspended for life. You could argue that I am somewhat hypocritical. Fine.

Marg doesn't have to fight in the US to make money. For loading his gloves, one of the great sins in boxing (sorta like football and baseball frown upon ******** more than they do steroids) and then acting so nonchalantly let Marg spend the rest of his professional career fighting outside the US so he doesn't get the chance to earn the large purses this country offers.

Honestly bro Margarito will get his license in Texas. Whether posters agree with this or not, I guarantee you he will get licensed here. FWIW Tyson (my favorite fighter of all time) was convicted of ****, bit a guys ear off in the ring, and was linked to other incidents, yet there were states willing to give him a license (and eventually did). All of that stuff was worse (in the boxing communities eyes) than an attempt to load gloves. Money rules boxing/this country, and Arum will get Tony his license back.

A tape that took how long to release. Also the same company that you are vouching for still hasn't released ODLH testing results from back n the day. I could care less, but lets not act like they are saints when all of these guys are just as bad. (GBP is just as corrupt if not more than Top Rank....and that's a fact).

Coach Webb I disagree. Another top rank guy would be a bad business move. I think Manny marg or Manny Cotto 2 (at 150) will not sell as much as manny cotto 1. I think Bob knows he hurt the negotiating position for Manny by putting him in the Clottey fight. The fight ******. The large crowd (we later found out) paid little or nothing to watch the fight (not a large live gate). The announcers did everything possible to make the fight enetertaining but got killed for it (**** ****).

Why would it be? People only care to see an exciting fight and only insiders know who is signed to who. If people see Manny vs Floyd or Manny vs Margarito....they will only think of two top fighters facing off and not this guy is from promotional company A vs this guy from promotional company B.

I said that to say that Arum is trying to keep his money in house, after what happened with the last failed negotiations with Mayweather & GBP. I have echoed this for a minute now, this is nothing new from me.

And? What's the problem.. Manny has been fighting Golden Boy fighters and Top rank fighers. Floyd as of late has only been fighting Golden Boy fighters. What does it matter though? I just want to see some good fights.

Shane was impressive against Marg. However, his fights prior to Marg weren't all that great. 1) UD against Collazo 2) LOSS to Cotto 3) Didn't look too good against an old faded Mayorga.. needed a last round KO.

It would be an action packed fight. Manny and Shane are fan friendly fighter that like to slug it out. Who wouldn't want to see it? Though I don't want to see Shane take too much punishment anymore. Bottom line is... I want to see good fights.
