At A Certain Point Everyone Need to Realize that If...

If Manny Pacquiao were to agree to random drug testing (which with his clean record might amount to a mere 3 or 4 tests dating as many as 14-24 days out from the fight) the fight would be made already.

    Just saying...

its the fact that since its random i have a HUGE feeling that it will be a couple of days out if not the day before.

HONESTLY the 18 "cutoff" in the Mosley/Floyd fight was a bit set up. I mean both fighters had pretty much the same schedule which is ridiculous. I seriously question it

If Floyd Mayweather didn't demand random drug testing (which he went about the wrong way.. trying to slander manny.. ruin his reputation.. going to the media and spewing baseless allegations. Instead of going through the proper channels.) the fight would be made already.

If Floyd Mayweather had taken the approach he did as in his first 40 fights,

        we'd have a fight.

Especially since Pacquiao is such an "easy fight, easy work, probably easier than the Marquez fight".

Who says that, and then bitches out?

        Floyd.

BE REAL. Do you think the USADA wants to waste its time on a boxing match?????

The timing of the Mayweather-Mosley testing had more to do with the relative unimportance of boxing than anything else.

            Don't worry about Mayweather.

Worry about Pacquiao for just ONE second. Think about it. If he REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted to MAKE the fight rather than WIN the NEGOTIATIONS (which is clearly what he and his team are MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH more focused on); if Pacquiao was just focused on making the fight happen all he'd have to do is agree to the testing.

Considering the fact that Pacquiao has never failed a test, it wouldn't be much to agree to the testing. So if his main objective to make the fight was to just take a few blood tests, why not just do it? Especially if his idea is that Mayweather is scared and about ready to lose his undefeated record???

Come on Pacquiao fans; Explain why Pacquiao wouldn't be itching at the opportunity to take Mayweather's undefeated record, self esteem and tests.

You do know that the problem now is not the testing, but the PURSE split.. right? Floyd wants more money.....

                What are the proper channels?

Dude do you think ANYONE wants the most popular boxer in boxing to get caught?

The main reason why the media is against the testing is because they KNOW that Pacquiao may very well be guilty and they DON'T want that to come out; especially since ALL of them voted for him as the unanimous "Fighter of the Decade."

Again, what are the proper channels???

The media doesn't want to know. The sanctioning bodies (which still get money from Pacquiao, but not from Mayweather) don't want to know. The casinos (which, apparently, make more money during Pacquiao fights than any other fighter's fights) don't want to know. HBO doesn't want to know because the only fighter who makes more money for HBO is Mayweather (and Mayweather is likely to retire after beating Pacquiao). The commissions don't want to know; especially when you consider that Pacquiao makes them as much money as Mayweather and more than anyone else.

So, considering that just about every stake holder had a HUGE reason to turn the other cheek to potential cheating; what are the "proper channels?"

I'm not accusing Pacquiao. Just pointing out the facts. There is no power broker that has an incentive in trying to impose fair testing. The incentives, instead, favor covering up high profile cases of PED use.

IMHO, many many many fighters use PEDs. Mayweather's stand (which may even, eventually, implicate Mayweather) is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.

I hope you include Floyd in your assessment of fighters who may have used.

There is tons of evidence to suggest he may have been using in the past.

Ok just because Ronnie Nathan(whatever the f the rest of his last name is) says that's what the problem is doesn't mean that's what the problem actually is.

Let's put it this way; if Schaefer and Arum don't talk (which they haven't) then just about the only other person who MIGHT know what the hold up is is Todd Duboef.

Has anyone seen an interview from him...EVER?
