It hurts me to acknowledge Roy Jones Jr as a cheater.

Through his attorney, Jones admitted he had been taking an over-the-counter product called Ripped Fuel. That’s not illegal but it is an anabolic steroid according to the IBF and other other sanctioning bodies
    oh noes

but what we agreed to was before his next two fights, Roy Jones would submit the results to more drug tests to Indiana. One fight was in Louisiana and those results were negative. And the other was in California, and those results were negative.

I was a big Jones fan before I heard he failed the test. And just because he failed one doesnt mean that was the only time he took them. I mean, Why would you take steroids against Richard Hall and not take them against guys like James Toney, Virgil Hill and Bernard Hopkins?

Roy is a cheater. It hurts me to say it but he is...

In that particular issue, the experts were asked who would win between Jones and either Hopkins or Michalczewski. Montell Griffin was one of them. I think he picked Jones and noted Jones' underrated strength. He then made a comment that Roy had really gotten big. He continued, "I don't know if he's lifting weights or something but he definitely got bigger." You could tell he believed something was amiss. There are many more who we may never know about.

What Jones tested positive for wasn't steroids...it was called "ripped fuel". Jones has NEVER tested positive for STEROIDS.

"A post-fight drug test showed Jones and Hall both tested positive for androstenedione which is a banned substance by the IBF. Androstenedione is a natural steroid hormone that was commonly available over the counter as a supplement until 2004 when the DEA made the over the counter sale of androstenedione illegal. Jones admitted to taking the product "ripped fuel" which was sold at GNC and other nutritional supplement outlets.Jones was able to keep his titles and was not fined or suspended for the positive test by the IBF. The Commissioner of Indiana Boxing, Jacob Hall stated that Indiana did not have a law on drug testing and that an agreement was made with Jones to send his next two pre-fight drug tests to the Indiana commission. Both of those tests came back negative.Jones has not tested positive for illegal substances on any other occasion.
            truely amazing

He tested positive for a a banned substance, he was also 6x over the legal limit (hall was 10x over the limit), which implies that what ever he took was in a concentrated form. I also noticed how big he was especially in the Griffen II and Hall fights

On top of all of this what people have to understand is that neither Jones or Hall expected to get tested either, drug testing for roids only started in 2002. That state (forgot which one) was clearly aheadof thier time when they started testing that early, 2000
