Tim Bradley Is The New Floyd Mayweather!

I used to support him but Tim Bradley is going to 147 to fight a dude i never heard of instead of proving his worth in the most talented division and nobody has a prob with this? Yes floyd retired at his peak but at least he left the sport alone instead of fighting lesser caliber comp with challenges ahead. And secondly why is bradley acting like he's somehow more deserving of big money fights than the rest of them. Amir has the fan base, Maidana has the punch, Devon the offensive tech. skills and Bradley has a aggressive style. Not to mention the dude who ko'd Amir and Zab back(as a gatekeeper only). They all bring something. Basically Tim thinks he's Floyd.

Wait until 3-4 fights from now. If he indeed takes on the best of WW, I doubt anyone would call him a ducker win or lose or draw.

Bradley clearly overrates himslef, you can read it in any of his interviews, the kid is dillusional, he thinks he's leaps and bounds ahead of anyone at 140, and that's just not the case.

I don't know why the hell hes at 147, people say he's too big for 140, but Khan and Ortiz are much bigger than Bradley and have no such difficulties.

I'm seeing some danger signs to. The biggest problem I have with tim is that he thinks he's already a star and deserves this and that. I mean he hasn't even been in PPV fights yet and is already demanding ****.

I feel the exact same way, it's like come on Tim, you have made a good start to your career, but lets not get carried away or anything

Yes he does overrate himself but so do lots of boxers. I don't mind though as long as he backs it up.

Totally agree with you, his trainers/friends are totally overrating him.

And as long as he takes big fights and doesn't retire, there's nothing wrong with him being like Floyd. The purpose of the Abregu fight is just to introduce him to 147 and make his presence known, in case opportunities in that division come. His next fight will likely be in the Fall. Maidana seems like the frontrunner, but Berto wants a big name from 140 and Bradley happens to be there right now, so that's also possible. And coincidentally, Berto also returns this Fall. So what's the problem? It's not like he's targetting tomato cans. Berto could manhandle everyone at 140 and Maidana could possibly KO them all. Both are dangerous, big fights.

Just because he isn't fighting Alexander right this second doesn't mean he isn't gonna take big fights. And if you guys are right and no opportunities at 147 come to him, then there's still 140.

And it not like Humberto Soto and Joel Casamayor are top dogs at 140 either, so he shouldn't get all the heat...

Tim Bradley is Tim Bradley, Floyd Mayweather is Floyd Mayweather, simple as that.

How is Bradley ***** for moving UP and fighting bigger guys?! He's trying to get his name in the discussion for a Mayweather or Pacquiao fight before they retire. All of these boxers want to try to cash in. You should ask why GBP rejected the 140lb tournament.
