are u mexican???because if you are almost all of the mexicans in this country at this point have some family member or descendent that came to this country illegally. so by saying this, what you are doing is similar to self hate.

I'm not saying racism doesn't exist, in fact they do exist.
What I'm saying is, those other race are doing something about it and they are starting within themselves...
You don't hear them being sensitive and on their guards at all times.
I acknowledge that slavery occured in America, and it's part of history that should shame ALL Americans.
You can't move on if you call racism at all times, to the point that you are making others feel uncomfortable about how they word their sentence.

This is my last post on the matter, I don't expect to "change" the world with my view. I'm a minority myself and been called every racist remarks in the book and have been racially profiled... but I don't let those experiences hold me back, and I surely don't expect an apology.

Like this one time my homie took me to a party in Crenshaw, I could not understand a word they were saying with the ebonic talk. I felt like telling em in a joking way to speak english but I was concerned about offending someone.. I never get that feeling hanging around meeting latinos, arabs, or whoever.

and u think blacks havent done something about it??/ that in itself is stereotypical. more than any other minority group in this country, blacks have fought for equal rights blacks have achieved great strides in equality. they are at the highest levels of government, in corporations and on tv daily. u, my friend,a are stereotyping without knowing you are stereotyping.

Do you know what freedom is about? People can choose to react how they want to whatever they want. Just because you acknowledge slavery it doesn't distance you from racism.

There is nothing wrong with wanting an apology. The aborigines received their apology. Why can't any other race who feels they were done wrong get theirs?

Lastly, if you are not racist and have good intentions, why would you worry about saying something racist or how you word your sentences?

Some of you are a trip.

                  • I remember all the terrible things they said about Kev Iole for placing Mayweather ahead of Manny on his p4p list. That was pathetic. And most of those hardcore Manny fanboys cant even talk boxing with Iole APART from Manny. SMH.
