Your first example is blatant racism. Thats the easier part of racism to deal with. It makes most uncomfortable and removes credibility from the source. The hard to deal with part is the subtle stuff. Its there but its harder to prove and one can easily defend causing it to continue to exist. I can call you ****** to your face and insult you in blatant fashion or I can talk down to you in a condescending manner implying you don't understand anything. Both accomplish the very same thing but second example was not as blatant and I could argue I was not being disrespectful and you read too much into things. But you would know the truth even though you couldn't prove it definitively.

I don't need to pretend because I don't heavily vouch for either guy to where my bias is evident, I just call it like I see it. There are as many obnoxious Mayweather fans as there as Pacquiao fans. I've seen numerous racial remarks by Mayweather fans here as I have seen with Pacquiao fans.

The difference is that they get banned and rightfully so. Unfortunately though, there is a double standard. There's a poster(probably an alt) named fefilum(sp) that openly uses the N word fully spelled out and calls blacks low IQ monkeys. Even puts it in his sig. The funny thing is that he has never been banned which says a lot.
