Not many guys can make each week worth watching. ODH got boring, hatton got boring, marquez ****** after he drank his piss. If not for Brother ****m there would have been no reason to watch shanes camp.

I'd watch just to see Shane's crazy bodyguard guy talk smack....lol

Floyd's attitude is like a double edged sword, people will tune in to watch him win and to watch him lose. Floyd is definitely the better salesman no doubt but I think now Pac carries the weight in his PPV's, meaning that he can still fight a no name guy and still do good numbers.

I feel that at this stage of the game, Floyd fighting a guy like Clottey would be looked down upon because of his past fights- just like now, no one wants to see Floyd fight anyone besides Pac. If Floyd were to fight another, lesser opponent, people would not be so eager to buy the event where as Pac would do better against a lesser name opponent.

I agree that Floyd does mega numbers but he has put himself up on a pedestal so that he can't afford to fight anyone unknown and do great numbers...people will label him as a ducker or say that he is better than that or whatever the case may be.

I'm not saying that Floyd does not do better numbers than Pac but Floyd has been a PPV fighter for some years now where as Pac is now getting into the limelight so to speak (2.5 years as a mainstream PPV guy).
Manny was on PPV BEFORE Mayweather....

      • Probably would be somewhere between who cares and who gives a ****... Pacquiao shouldn't have fought clottey on ppv let alone pac and floyd.

I get your opinion but the #'s don't suggest that. Pac doesn't do better no matter who the fighter is. Pac has been on ppv much more. For almost 2 yrs floyd wasn't even fighting.

In general, people just want to see mayweather fight more than they do pac. Even if people call him ducker, chicken, etc. he sells more ppvs on avg than any fighter in the game right now.

I know pac fans think very highly of him. But the fact is casual fans don't for whatever reason. Casual fans pay their hard earned money to see floyd.

So the because Floyd decided to retire of his own accord, that must be a detrimental factor for Floyd somehow?

We must excuse Floyd for his prolonged absences.........

*** Like I said earlier, due to his persona, whether real or for marketing purposes, people tune in to see him lose........what did Fischer say recently? "I want Floyd to lose because of his fans" I'm just saying, a fair amount of people tune in to his PPV's to see him lose

Floyd has been fighting in american soil longer than Pac. Pac only burst out of the american boxing scene when he fought barrera and destroyed him.

Funny how you defend a coward to death even if he isn't giving the fight of the century. Your like the make a wish kid Floyd went up to.

Kid: I want to see you fight Pac That is my last wish before I die.

                  Floyd: Kid I can't I'm retiring for 2 years.

Kid: confused, don't know what to say.. ahhmm ok Floyd I still love you.

Floyd fans I salute you for loving him to death.
