Although RJJ knows his stuff, tv personality wise I don't really favor him.

Roy does a fantastic job of commentating. He is always on point and can tell whats gonna happen in a fight by the second round. Quite a shame, and he deserved it, I think. He did an amazing job on the Cotto-Foreman fight, and has done a tremendous job on ther fights as well. HBO got it wrong on this one, I think. Sugar Ray Leonard isn't that great. He did an okay job with the Roy Hopkins rematch, but not that good.

TS: The article says this is a possibility, not a fact, so I edited your thread title as such.

FYI, SRL tried this already in the 80's and failed miserably. Also for people trying to say RJJ, he got fired from HBO the first time for not showing up to production meetings and unprofessional stuff like that.

But now that he's retired (or almost is) wouldn't he have more time of his hands to show up to production meetings and stuff?

                Good news.

SRL is an ATG so let him get the spot.
