Duran is the greatest LW of all time and easily beats Pac. Pac was a one dimensional brawler and he was a one punch puncher in the lower weight classes. He became a better fighter and better overall fighter when he moved up.

All of these are obviously a fun speculation for all of us and no one is RIGHT or WRONG. Let's just cut the personal attacks...LOL.

In my honest and humble opinion, we can surmise with great arguments whether by great logic, scientific-ness or by experience but truth to behold, it can even be the most boring fight also....such is life, unpredictable.

They are seemingly similar in their brawling habits and both are not backing up from their opponents. It is simply a WILD speculation.

For one thing DURAN has had his HANDS OF STONE, stamina, heart and chin consistently while PACQUAIO had a whirlwind of improvements from a one-handed (left hand) fighter to a 1-2 puncher to the most versatile-all-angle-high-volume-puncher with tenacious energy and stamina....within the last few years.

So we can "limit" and say the BEST OF DURAN's years vs the BEST OF PACQUIAO's years (which is about now) and just slug it out.

Both would be the ultimate ROCK-EM-SOCK-EM ROBOTS in the ring while we take away their humanity as if they're heartless. Much to the delight of our pugilistic heart and high-adrenaline-induced hunger and lust for violence.

But all in all, it can end in a one-punch a la' Hatton fight (Pacquaio) or a simply flurry of combinations a la' Barkley fight (last round by Duran). We simply don't know sometimes.

Who knows if DURAN can withstand Pacquiao's LEFT CROSS or RIGHT HOOK, would it be the same ferocity and strength of a Thomas Hearn's RIGHT CROSS that sent DURAN on the canvas on the 2nd round?

Who knows if PACQUIAO can withstand Duran's body shots that deterred Sugar Ray in their first fight?

Anything can happen in 1 fight....salivatingly sallacious in 3 fights. Why not make it 5 fights then?! bwahahhaha

Duran is the greatest LW of all time. He beats both Floyd and Manny at 135. Manny gets his ass beat at 135. What has Manny done at 135? Beating the weakest champ and becoming a paper champ.

Floyd gave JLC an immediate rematch after their first fight instead of waiting 4 years for his opponent to get old like Manny did to JMM.
