When hasn't Mayweather been in top shape? He would not panick either.

Where the **** in my post did I say that he's already been out of shape? I just said he better be in top shape so relax. Some fighters DO take it easy sometimes.Originally posted by mic573When hasn't Mayweather been in top shape? He would not panick either.
Heck RJJ panicked last saturday, so it is possible.Comment

Mayweather outboxes everybody at 140 right now. Sharmba gives him a good fight but loses by UD and Gatti gets a boxing lesson much like DLH gave him. Cotto's a different story though. Give Cotto a big fight against one more tough 140 pounder and he'll be ready for Mayweather. Fall 2005 baby Cotto TKO 11.Comment

Box on the move is PBF's best tactic here and he does that best. If he ever gets tied up by Gatti, Floyd will crumple with one haymaker. Gatti will just smile at PBF's punches but Arturo will definitely be outclassed.
Gatti to Floyd in the ring: I know you can outpoint me kid but please stop massaging my abs and face with your gloves.

Floyd should stay at 140 beat up on some people there wait for erik to move to 135 then take him up on fighting at a catch weight of 138lbs.
Mayweather would receive more glory from beatin Morales than anyone else at 140. Lets face it Morales would be the most skilled fighter yet to face Mayweather. The most accomplished, and the one with most drawing power (MONEY).
Of course im gonna be rooting for Erik though

I was really just saying he would be in top shape. It wasn't really a question. I have never seen Mayweather take it easy to the point where he couldn't beat the other fighter. Plus Mayweather has been wanting this fight so he wouldn't take no chances against Gatti.Originally posted by m00ksWhere the **** in my post did I say that he's already been out of shape? Mayweather is kinda like a lower division Roy Jones Jr. and we all saw what happened to him this past saturday. He is really scarry when it comes to physical contact. If you could put the heart of Gatti in the body of Mayweather that guy would be UNSTOPPABLE! scary thought.Comment

Mayweather stood up against the strongest 135 pound fighter in Castillo and didn't get pushed around and handle it quite well. Castillo is stronger than Gatti but Gatti hits harder. I don't think Mayweather would allow Gatti to really have an opportunity to land a punch. Mayweather has the best defense in the sport today when he chooses to use it. Gatti has tremendous heart but he is a Class B fighter who has lost to every Class A fighter he has fought and I don't think this will be any different.Originally posted by nezahualcoyotlMayweather is kinda like a lower division Roy Jones Jr. and we all saw what happened to him this past saturday. pretty muchOriginally posted by MayweatherfanFloyd Mayweather will clean out 140,let me just say first off I am not just saying this because I am obiviously a fan of Floyd. I really think peoole under rate him big time, he is a 140 pound version of Roy Jones in his prime. Heres the difference he has a good chin and better defense. Mayweather can beat in my opinion Tyzu, Mitchell, Gatti or anyone else from 140-147. What do you think?Comment
