    Floyd Mayweather Jr.: The Truth

Floyd Mayweather will clean out 140,let me just say first off I am not just saying this because I am obiviously a fan of Floyd. I really think peoole under rate him big time, he is a 140 pound version of Roy Jones in his prime. Heres the difference he has a good chin and better defense. Mayweather can beat in my opinion Tyzu, Mitchell, Gatti or anyone else from 140-147. What do you think?

He won't clean out 140 because he won't stay there long enough. He's already talking about fighting Spinks and De La Hoya.

I'm not sure he cleans out 140 anyway, though. I don't like people hopping weight classes just to get dream match-ups or higher paydays. It can end up backfiring (right, Roy?)

Mayweather got staggered by some Corley punches at 140 - can you imagine if Gatti lands something big? I think Mayweather's very, very skilled, but I'd rather see him fighting Morales, Corrales, Casamayor right now.

But he wants to do like Zab Judah and jump around weight classes.

Whatever keeps his hands off his wife, I guess.

I agree, until he meets Cotto on the ring.

Floyd Mayweather will not clean out the 140. He didn't have the power in 135 he certainly ain't gonna hurt no body at 140. Oh yah Morales/Mayweather sounds awesome.

Mayweather has enough pop in his punches at 140 to catch opponents and hurt them. It's not one punch power but still he has enough to keep opponents from running through him. I think he will have a tough time with either Mitchell or Tszyu and with a few more fights Cotto. I think he beats everyone else though. Gatti would be beaten by Mayweather. Mayweather would also be defensive against the big punchers.

Please, Gatti would get tickled if he got punched by Mayweather. He's been hit A LOT harder. Lathough I do think he can beat Gatti on points, but in terms of hurting the sob? No way.

He won't hurt Gatti but he wouldn't have to. Gatti can't box with Mayweather and would lose a rather lopsided decision while being outclassed.

That's right MAYWEATHER is a skilled and talented fighter . . . a scientific one. . . so that possibility is real, though it maybe argued that he doesn't have the power to put 140 pounders down with one punch that can be easily compensated by his speed and mobility . . . he can beat them on points. . . against Tysu, Mitchell, Gatti . . . add Cotto those are PPV fight materials . . . if those happens it's going to be good for the sport . . . it's going to be good for the division.

No sure win on all these fights . . . it can go both ways.

That's why I'm iffy on this one. Best way to stop Gatti is to hurt him bad. I just think PBF is gonan panick when he sees Gatti the freak still coming forward. PBF better be in top shape if he wants to outbox Gatti for 12 rounds, cuz thunder ain't gonna stop.
