Manny doesn't care about money he has his FOTD. Just leave that 60 percent to Floyd and enjoy your accolades Mr. Niceguy.

      No it's actually true.

There was a survey conducted by Roy Morgan and it actually showed that the number 1 motivating factor for consumers to purchase a Floyd Mayweather PPV was to see him lose.

If this fight happens, it will break records. People are estimating 3-4 million ppv buys, possibly even close to 5 million. That would be double Floyd vs Oscar. Those kind of numbers aren't even a possibility if its not the two best and most popular fighters in the world. Name me another fighter Floyd could face and approach those numbers. That fighter doesn't exist. The same is true for Manny. Those kind of numbers are only a possibility if there are two icons standing across from each other in that ring. Floyd and Manny need each other. Quit acting like Manny is Shane Mosley. He's not. Manny is a superstar. Give him his 50%!!!!!!!!

Floyd seems to be doing alright on his own 40 million payday with Mosley. When Pac wants to make more than the 12mill he made against Clottey he will concede. Until then bring on Mayweather vs Martinez, vs Williams, hell just about any big name boxer.

Pacquiao wanted to wast time he refused the offer of 14days and 50/50 back in March. It's too late now time is money and he wasted everybodies time. The way I look at it you were too smart for your own damn good. Either suck it up and take your 40 percent or agree to take OST up to the Day of the fight for 50 percent. If not stop crying because we don't believe you you need more people.

This is not a popularity contest,it is a marketing contest, only people who are willing to pay have value. If Manny changes his strategy and get all these people who watch his fights for free to pay then he can have a right to 50-50 or even bigger numbers. As it stands forget it.It's even worse because he spend his life fighting Mexicans who also have same tendencies of watching fights in big numbers. So basically Manny should be grateful he gets 40%,this is business
You must the dumbest man on the planet. I had about 15 people over at my house to watch Mayweather/Mosley, I guess because 10 of them were black they "is po' folks too massa?" GTFO with that mess. People go to parties partially because they don't have to pay for the fight, yes, however it has more to do with the atmosphere of a fight party. Its fun, the booze and bud (at least at my pad) make it more fun, you got food, friends. Add to the fact that Mayweather/Mosley was the most hyped PPV ever, the fact that they were saying 3-4 million was possible and they end up with 1.4 million buys. If you ask me its closer to a failure than it was a success given their expectations, apparently GBP thinks Mosley is a bigger draw than Pacman expecting those numbers.

Really it all comes down to this: Mayweather will never break 2 million again without Pacman, who without Mayweather will never break 2 million either. If these guys simply pulled their head out of their ass, of course after they remove the hundreds of lips that are on there already and they'd realize that they need each other to make them both "a draw." Its like a movie the hero needs a villian or it simply gets boring watching one or the other.

Filipino families in general have lower income which is why they show Pac's fights for free in the philipines.

Mayweather is a good business man and people pay top dollar to see his fights.

                  He deserves a bigger cut.

It's hard to say who is the bigger draw in away.On one hand Floyd did better PPV numbers with the same fighters. But he fought those fighters at better times in their careers.Hoya was still a major player in the sport and Hatton was never beatin and had almost all of UK on his back.IMO Floyd is the bigger draw even still but this fight should be 50/50 just cause Floyd can't make this kind of money anywere else.Meaning Floyd is the bigger draw but not by much.I mean this an't Hoya Mayweather were Hoya was a much bigger draw.50/50 split lets get this thing on.

If Pac is asking for 50/50, then what makes you say that Pac thinks he's a bigger draw. He's not asking for 60/40 like Floyd. So how is he thinking that he's dominating the negotiations if he's being fair about the split. Think bro, think, don't let your hate on Pac get the best of you. If you try to be logical instead of hatin and being bias against Pac, then you wouldn't even had to bother starting this idiotic thread and asking a ****** question and making ****** comments.
