Seriously we could play this game over and over again going thru all their PPV numbers and the end result is once again who gives a *** who makes more!?

Manny has no leverage and is being a diva.

LOL it's hilarious how nobody now is talking about the drug tests anymore (which I figured would happen anyway), but now people are bickering at Manny because he's not budging at Floyd's 60/40 split? So now all of a sudden Manny doesn't wanna fight?

I got a feeling this is all hype and Floyd will get a slightly bigger share, but I don't see a 60/40 happening nor do I think it's just. 52/48 Floyd. Both are still making a killing on top of PPV buyrates and gate.

What about Oscar, Hatton and Marquez? I'm not going into this again. We've all seen the numbers, Mayweather is the bigger draw and it's not debatable.

I don't care who makes more, but the fighters do, as they should. From a business standpoint, in no way does Pacquiao deserve the same amount as Mayweather. It's not rocket science.

first of all FLOYD DOES NOT DESERVE HIGHER THAN A 50-50 SPLIT. compare manny's last three fights (clottey, cotto, hatton) to floyd's last three fights (mosley, marquez, hatton) in ppv buys and it is about the same. Pacquiao is the only one making concessions here while floyd is thinking of new demands so that he wont have to fight pacman.

so if manny agrees to 40-60 split...what will floyd want then? oh he'll want the fight in a thirty foot ring or something

About the same? I'd hate for you to be someone's accountant.

If you are going by those numbers Floyd did not sell 20% more PPV's but yet you feel he deserves 20% more of the revenue.

The he will say well the guy didnt want to fight me and I only wanted one thing done.

All mind games, Manny doesn't need this Flyod does. He lives above his means and realises people stop going to his matches cos their boring retires, comes back and people are interested again.

                  Flyod should be in marketing.

Wrong. It went more like this:

                  Pre-Clottey and Mosley fights

                  Pacquiao:
                  50/50 split - Mayweather agreed
                  8oz Gloves - Mayweather agreed
10Mill for every lb over 147 at the weigh in - Mayweather agreed

                  Mayweather:
OST up to 14 days - Pacquiao denies

Mayweather states negotiations will be much harder to make the second time around if Pacquiao doesn't agree to 14 day OST:

                  Post Clottey and Mosley

                  50-50 split - Mayweather denies
OST up to 14 days - Mayweather denies
Cowboys Stadium - Mayweather says Vegas

Yeah and selling 8% more PPV's entitles you to 20% more revenue LOL!!

                    Good one Mr. Math!

in that case you are right
but dont act like its only floyd
this is mannys biggest payday and fight ever

my other point is that Floyd is gonna make a lot more money than Manny whether they fight each other or not
Floyd fights for $20 mil +
                      manny fights for $10-$12
                      thats a big difference

I say make it a coin toss and the winner decides either 14 days or no cut off
