Isn't it funny how FOTD or P4P was unimportant ...until Pac got them?

For seven years, Floyd was the higher ranked p4p fighter. The male nurses claimed that p4p was a fake title. Then Floyd retired and handed off the p4p crown to Pac. Suddenly, the p4p title became hugely important.

      LMAO.

Do the math. Floyd would (and has) make MORE money than Pac no matter who they fought. That's called leverage.

I know *****s are so interested in Floyd's finances and numbers..

Pac/PBF fight has potential to easlily topple 100+million in revenue. For argument's sake lets keep that round number and award 50% to Floyd. That's 50 million in the bank.

Now Floyd fighting an alternative would probably generate about 60 million. Lets just say Floyd takes 80% that's 48 million for him.

End of the day, even with a 50/50 split Floyd has the potential to make significantly more money fighting Pacquiao than any other opponent at this time. Combine the potential of this mega fight with the safe assumption that Floyd choosing any other unworthy opponent will probably cause a flop in PPV (much like Pac/Clottey).

Let me make sure I understand. Floyd outsells Pac in every scenario and after disposing on Mosley, a fighter Pac wouldn't even face at 140, Pac then agrees to terms that were no longer on the table prior to any new negotiations beginning. Pac then says we are in negotiations but I won't bend on anything. He'll make somewhere in the area of $7-8 million to fight Cotto because no one wants to see that fight, and probably about as much to face Margartio because the public is still pissed at that dude. His PPV agaisnt Garcia was so low Arum won't even list it anywhere.

Floyd outsold PAC 2-1 and consistently puts out bigger numbers PAC shoud agree cuz while PAC might have a zillion fans only about 700k of them pay to see him fight

I think Rakim once said it best..."I don't talk about my money so why would I talk about yours".

On the other hand Mayweather has more affluent fans, his ringside seats are more expensive and thats why he makes more at the gate from less people.Come fight night Mayweather fans are willing to pay to watch him fight. There used to be a myth that people pay to watch Mayweather losing, there is no evidence to suggest that.Even the fans who go to watch Mayweather, they will be standing and cheering him as he fights and seems like the who is who in the world will be there.

All this is translated in how much Mayweather makes. In his fight with Marquez, Mayweather made more money than Pacquiao did fighting Marquez and his ppv were more than Pacquiao's.Pacquiao wouldnt fight Mosley because of the risk and Mosley was also said not to bring anything to the table.Mayweather made more ppvs and revenue with a guy who brought nothing to the table. He has been having good ppvs so who says Mayweather is not popular?
Your classification of both fanbase is unsubstantiated and borderline racist.
What survey did you perform for you to classify Pac's fanbase as being "poor" and can't afford PPV, while May's fanbase are "affluent"?
You are clearly nuthugging in your posts...

Most of the people who buys Mayweathers fight are not his fans, they are there to witness him lose!
Name a fight where they actually chanted his name rather than his opponent?
I guarantee you that on fight night with Manny, people will be rooting for Pac.
Not to say those are Manny's fans, but they are there to see May lose.

I didn't buy anything. I just find it amusing that Pac is attempting to accept what he turned down the first time. Mayweather already explained months ago that if Pac runs away, this is what would happen. I.E. if he beats Mosley and sells more PPV's than Pac he would request more money and no cut offs. He beat Mosley and he doubled Pac's PPV's. The point is Mayweather called it and now Pac is trying to back track.

In the mean team his team is saying that Pac wouldn't fight undefeated Timothy Bradley because "He's not promoted enough" (yet clottey was?) and that "Pac isn't ready for a fighter like Mayweather" and "Shane Mosley is too good"...

Cherry picking at its finest. Isn't this what Mayweather gets bashed for? Ouch

Can Pacquiao and Floyd please either retire or die from aids, im sick of this mindless back in forth negotiations where we ALL know will end up with the fight not happening.
