Would you say the Super 6 has been a bust or a success so far ?

Besides the Froch-Dirrell decision (which was close either way), there hasn't been any hometown controversy.
I voted solid. All the matchups are fantastic in terms of having the top guys fight each other. The fights themselves could have been better but i though the action picked up in the second stage.
The N.American media has been ignoring this...kinda expected it, but the promoters should have done a better job of selling this tournament. Its incredible how downright LAZY boxing promoters are, if it weren't for Showtime and HBO gifting them and their fighters massive paydays then they would be out of a job.Last edited by RSBonos; 06-21-2010, 11:13 PM.Comment

Besides Pac/Mayweather.(Which hasn't even happened) What even besides the Super Six has garnered more attention in boxing?
That's what I thought for the haters out there.Comment

you do realize Dirrell and ward are unknown in the US.
Really if the US has so many ***** no-going fans, then how come Cotto can sell out Madison square garden. how come Pacquaio and floyd can fill up seats in the US. **** even Margarito vs shane broke records in the staple center.Comment

It's been great. It's bringing attention to the SMW division, and it's making great fights. There's been a lot of drama as well. Just think of all the attention it's gotten. Nothing against you at all, but this thread didn't need to be made. If people don't support this tournament, that's just ******.Comment

it's been solid, unexpected events and outcomes, decent fights, at least half of them so far. there is room for more but it's not over yet, so, i'm saying it's been good so far.
and as far as i'm concerned, this is how boxers should be going about their business, fighting all the top dudes in the division.......... mad props to the tourney.Comment
