Mayweather still thinks Pacquiao is scared of needles, or being "blood drained", or just being exposed. Take the tests Pac and show the world you're the best.Comment

Indeed Pac has improved but has faced zero counterpunchers since his move up in weight to really prove that he's better. None of those fighters possessed the speed or the intellect to punish him for his mistakes. In fact all the fighters he has faced have been known to be come forward pressure fighters with the exception of DLH who tried that method to no avail lol. Mayweather may not be a one punch KO artist but he hits hard enough to make you think twice about your approach, just ask Shane Mosley who clearly felt those shots. And if you say Mosley has no chin or its not as good as Manny's then you would be full of **** lol. Mosley has never been KOed and down only against V Forrest after a headbutt. He had no lasting damage on his face after his fight with Cotto compared to Manny who was bruised up and had a busted ear and Mosley clearly took harder shots from a fresher, younger and at 147 not 145 Cotto then Manny did. Cotto landed 248 against Mosley to his 172 against Manny. The bottomline is that Manny hasn't face a true counterpuncher or a fighter that gives him movement since JMM and that's exactly what Floyd is. And Floyd may not follow with combos but he clearly hits harder then JMM, is much sneaker with those punches and we all know the punches you dont see coming always hurts the most. And if he follows those harder counters with a run like you say, how will Manny be able to land? Manny will be forced to reset his offense and start over again, opening himself up to more counter shots and the cycle will repeat until Manny stops trying to be reckless and overwhelm Floyd's defense which would pretty much make him a sitting duck. Of course he could get lucky and have one of his shots from the southpaw stance slip in like Corley's and Judah's did but if that's all you have to stake on i'll put my money on Money lol. Floyd will tie him up and recover quickly like he did against Corley, Judah and Shane. I also don't want to hear about how Manny would be too fast, that too is BS. He isn't any faster at 147 then he was at 130 vs JMM. It just appears that way because he's facing guys much slower then he is. Now he's aiming to face a guy who's faster then JMM or anybody else ever was, has a longer reach and much better reflexes to counter his aggression. Hmmm....Last edited by Hookums_2005; 06-22-2010, 10:11 PM.Comment

Dear Mr. Floyd Mayweather,
I am a Pacquaio fan and I admit it, but after watching you fight Mosley, I must say that you are one of the most talented boxers of all time, it even gave me nightmares with you beating Manny easy, and as far as defensive boxing skill is concerned, you are second to none, and I think you will be the greatest test Manny will face in his entire career.
Please accept the 50/50 split since you will still be earning the highest payday of your life, plus the chance to beat the crap out of Manny and establish your legacy as one of the all time greats. Why not sign the contract for us boxing fans? It will totally be considered as one of the greatest fights of this century. I am pretty sure Manny is an easy work, easy fight for you, and you will still be able to maintain your undefeated record.
I hope, Mr. Floyd, that you will listen to all the fans' request for this mega fight.
Respectfully yours,
Boxing Fan
P.S. After beating Manny, you will earn a lot of respect from all MP's fans around the world. I guarantee you that. No more reason for ranting and bickering. Just pure respect for you. I hope this message will get to you.Comment

No ****. It's all manny vs floyd everywhere. It's ridiculous. Yea marquez called out floyd, but does that change the fact that marquez had to move up two divisions to fight him. Does that excuse mayweather for not making the 144 lb limit that was initially in the contract? Manny been calling floyd out. What's the problem?

Manny been calling Floyd out? He walked away from the fightNo ****. It's all manny vs floyd everywhere. It's ridiculous. in March because of the random testing that he is agreeing to
now? What the **** is your problem? Excuse me, Roach said
that Manny was afraid of needles. Pac said that giving blood
would make him weak too close to the fight, THEN he said that
Mayweather is bigger than him so him (Pac) giving blood would be
an advantage for Mayweather. Roach also said that March
was too soon for Manny to be prepared to fight a guy like
Floyd. Those are way too many excuses coming out of Pac's
camp. Doesn't sound like they want to fight Floyd to me. Facts?
Where have you been? Everyone on Boxingscene knows that I
post links to interviews and videos all the time to make my point
and back up what I'm saying so for you to call me out shows that
you have not been following what's going on. Since you want
some facts, I'm going to post something for you. Check it out........

Yes manny has been calling out floyd since after the hatton fight, after the cotto fight, after the clottey fight, and Manny is calling him out NOW. Why don't Floyd just sign the contract? I don't have no problems with you. I just asked you to back up your ASSumptions. What is your problem?
Yes, roach and arum may have said those things. You specifically said manny, which is not true. Yes manny believes giving blood may weaken him if taken too close to the fight. If manny believes that to be the case I can't fault him. There is proof on video where he was interviewed after the morales fight talking about that very subject. Wouldn't you want an even playing field? Would you be ok with a less than 100% pacquiao against floyd?
Excuses? Roach tells it like it is. He thought it was too soon, but doesn't mean they wouldn't have fought if floyd was willing to compromise during the first round of talks. What excuses? Team Pac and Team May were negotiating, but could not come to an agreement.
But NOW, at this moment in time, Manny wants this fight.. Where's floyd? Last I heard he wanted to take a year to 2 years off (ain't buyin it). Ellerbe saying negotiations aren't going on.. etc. Should we assume mayweather doesn't want the fight?

You got that from freddys quote? There you go again with your ASSumptions. I bet you thought manny wasn't ready for DLH, Hatton, or Cotto right? LOL! Floyd is a tough challenge for manny, no ****. But Manny has stated since after the hatton fight that he wanted the fight. He reiterated it after the cotto fight. Again, said it after the clottey fight.
Using your logic..
Ellerbe said no negotiations are taking place, and manny is negotiating with himself.
May Sr. said his son floyd dont need to fight pac and don't want him in the ring with pac.
Floyd himself said he was gonna take a year or two off.
With all that said, I can also say Floyd is not ready for Manny.
