Froch is too ignorant box, so he will most likely get knocked out by Abraham...

Froch's chin is overrated. Abraham's gonna knock him out man. Taylor is not THAT powerful, at all. At 160, Taylor was very powerful, only fighter KD and hurt Pavlik badly was Taylor AT 160. At 168 Taylor is NOT that strong and he hurt a natural 168 Froch and KD'd him. I don't think that had to do much with Taylor's power, that was Froch's chin imo. Froch having an iron chin is like is like Antonio Margarito having good defense. Abraham's defense is underrated, dude covers his face with a really good guard. If Kessler was the aggressor against Froch, that means Froch respected Kessler's power. Abraham is more powerful than Kessler, so I can only imagine Froch will be running all night long against Abraham. And Froch's footwork is not that of a runner. He's going to get caught, Abraham's gonna hurt him. I can't see Froch penetrating Abraham's defense.

Taylor is a good puncher, I would say he has decent power at 168... just because he hadn't fought there before doesn't mean he automatically doesn't have a lot of power at 168.

The way Taylor turns over his right hand and torque's his body, it's going to create some power. It's how he throws it.

He does in fact throw them, and when/if he does.. .it can/will put you to sleep.

Also, AA doesn't need to win a jabbing contest... he needs to make Froch pay when he comes in on AA to put work in... which in fact he will.

Froch will be there to be hit without a doubt in my mind, and I don't think he can take that kind of power.

AA will also have faster hands than Carl.
We'll see how it develops. An interesting match-up for sure.

Yeah AA may have faster hands although it's not by that much. Froch has faster feet though. And footwork is a keyissue when fighting AA. I guess most people knew that before Dirrell fought him but at least Dirrell proved it. Andre was a lot quicker than AA. So quick that he got away with some bad amateurish mistakes. Did you notice how Andre made those big circular pivots on his back foot when sliding away along the ropes? Speedier guys than AA would have made him pay, but that's for another thread.

His fight at 168 against Pavlik, he boxed well, but didn't show half the power he showed at 160 against Pavlik. Now that can mean he was just gunshy, or he just is not that powerful at 168. He DID catch Pavlik with some nice shots, and didn't phase Pavlik. Same shots at 160 had Pavlik on ***** street and down on all fours.

Amyways, if it was indeed Taylor's power instead of Froch's chin. I'm pretty sure Abraham has more power than Taylor at 168, if he catches Froch it's lights out.

It's also the mentality of the two fighters.

Dirrells mentality gave him an advantage over AA, besides his natural attributes.

He wants to hit and not get it. He wants to get in and get out before you can fire back. This was advantageous big time for Dirrell. Couple that mentality with his raw talents of speed an athleticism and it's a bad match up for AA.

With Froch, he wants to fight, and he wants you to fight as well. He wants to be in your face, and he wants to apply pressure and use his toughness to break you. He's a fighter.

IMO, this is a bad mentality for Froch, because you simply do not want stand there and trade shots with AA, because I think anybody in the tournament will lose that kind of fight.

Couple that with Froch's lack of defense... and I simply do not see it going well for Carly.

If theres gonna be any upset in the fight, it's gonna be Carl Froch stopping Abraham who is basically a walking punch bag for half of the fight.

Abrahams best punch is the straight right in terms of power. He has a good right hand, he KOed Taylor with it, and hurt Dirrel with it.
