We're not going to get anywhere with that illogical kind of thinking.

We have to make judgements based on what we already know. I don't see anything wrong with that.

According to your logic we shouldn't be making pre fight prediction threads at all.

both fighters possess certain skills and attributes that can trouble the other man. Volume, speed and quick feet can negate counter punching. Defense, timing and accuracy can overcome volume, speed and quick feet.

The fighter who wins will be the one who is able to impose their style/tempo will in the fight.

If i was Roach i would tell Manny to come out all guns blazing, all 12 cylinders going and unleash on floyd from the very first second of rd one. If he starts to sit back and think too much you will find him just staring at Floyd and eating leather, just like ODLH, Judah, JMM, SSM etc. They all stopped to think......you can't beat Floyd in a high speed chess match....you need to ovewhelm him and land hard shots consistently. One or two won't do it......hard shots consistently rd after rd.

best post i read in the thread. no need to enumerate what advantage what a fighter has over the other..cause they are both great.

You may be saying the same thing but I would say that Floyd likes a slow game of chess rather than a fast paced game of chess. In a slow game of chess, either you or your opponent will be attacking or waiting to intercept 1 or 2 punches coming from your opponent.

If you notice, if an opponent throws 1 or 2 punches, Floyd is effective in either blocking, ducking, rolling or countering his opponents well.

If the opponent comes in with combinations then Floyd instinctively goes into his defensive routine and does not risk countering. Manny needs to play a higher paced game of chess.

                    Manny needs to:
                    - Step in.
                    - Combinations ONLY.
                    - Step out.

I should add, a Southpaw such as Manny, should be more effective against Floyd's defensive routine. So it's another area that Manny should try to exploit against Floyd.

However, in contrast passion will almost always enhance rational thought because it drives one to educate oneself in a matter.

Lets give it a try…I have always admired Pacman since his fight with Barrera. It was so refreshing to see the passion in a young fighter like Pacman displayed against a smart and technically sound fighter like Barrera. Pacman is a great fighter period. The excitement buzz and passion he brings to a fight ..and lets not forget the huge “Heart” is what has catapulted Manny to the top of the boxing game today.

Yet, even with all these attributes Manny will not beat “Mayweather”. And we will see this fight make no mistake about it! Here are the reasons in order of importance:

                      1. Defensive brilliance.

                      2. Speed and all important “Timing”.

                      3. Boxing intelligence. (watch the Marquez fight again)

                      4. Ability to take a “bomb” actually two.. (The Mosley fight)

                      5. Strength (Mosley was shocked at the “strength of “Mayweather” ..he could not muscle “Floyd” around the ring… and Floyd stood toe to toe throughout the fight. Margarito could not do this against “Shane”).

6.Ability to adapt in the ring.

                      7. Unprecedented connect percentage… Manny takes too many punches…and he will be hit often and clean.

Summary: Remember this reply…it will serve as a blue print and a round by round breakdown of the “Fight”.:

                      I await your responses..............

BTW if you want an explanation for the red K, I will provide you with one via PM.

EDIT: red K has gone, but I'll still PM you about how I got it if you want. Just inform me.
                      WTF EvA.
                      Pacman has no chance right.
Why the fark is Mayweather so scared than. Quit with the drug testing bull**** and fight.
