The only people who think Floyd ducked anyone are fight fans whose fighters fight for Top Rank.

We have differences in opinion I think fighters should only be held accountable for fighting the best in their division you feel he should fight every contender. The only fight I feel should definitely have happened is the cotto fight at 147. I've outlined how margarito is 60% hype, 30% cheat, and 10% real contender I won't break that down again. In my opinion if you beat more solid opposition then those who you have chosen not to fight are minuscule from a career standpoint. I've heard names like Casamayor but he was also beaten by Corrales and JLC. Freitas, Knocked out by coralles. Why don't you name some others? Saying you can't possibly name guys who floyd "ducked is a ridiculous statement unless you don't know **** about boxing.

He didn't fight DeLaHoya instead of Margarito. He was offered 8 million to fight Margarito, and didn't like the dollar amount yet turned around and fought slow, flat footed, 9 loss journeyman Baldomir. He ducked Margarito to fight Baldomir instead for 8 million.

I don't wanna hear he was the lineal champ, that a way of trying to justify it. He took the less risky fight in Baldomir. Baldomir beat Zab Judah and than Floyd turned around and fought Zab after Baldomir had already beat him. Get the facts straight.

Yeah Real Boxing fans like guys who make gifs of one of the two only solid punches a fighter lands while getting out boxed and dominated for 10 straight rounds...

Yeah lets go ahead and leave out that Margarito only had a paper belt at the time... a vacant belt won fighting antonio Diaz. Funny thing was Antonio Diaz was at the time the best win margarito had. Antonio Diaz was a solid fighter back then but I think you would agree that a win over zab judah and currently having the lineal title(not a vacant paper title) was more deserving of a shot... no?

                  So lets put this together
Baldomir: Good: new lineal champ of the division by KO
wins over Zab Judah and Arturo Gatti
                  no recent losses
                  Bad: 9 early career losses
Margarito: Good: owner of the vacant WBO belt
up and coming top WW contender(or so says Arum anyway)
Win over Antonio Diaz & Kermit Cintron
                  Bad: no meaningful titles
                  recent loss to Daniel Santos
I probably missed some factors feel free to correct me.

The point I'm making is Baldomir was the safer challenge at the time. Margarito was the fight the public wanted to see, and the perceived riskier fight. I'm not saying Margarito would have won that fight but we will never know and thats the problem. The problem I had on Floyds end is don't say 8 million isn't enough money and turn around and fight Baldomir for the same amount of money.

Yes baldomir had the more prestigious title, but that was a way of justifying taking the less risky fight. Baldomir had 9 losses, wethere early in his career or not, it's still 9 losses yet some Floyd fans (not saying you) will turn around and discredit Pacquiao for a couple early losses yet call Baldomir a good win for 9 early losses.

Baldomir beat a mentally weak Zab Judah that has never showed up in any big fight. Tsyzu,Baldomir,Floyd are just a couple examples. Does Zab have talent? yes but all the talent in the world means nothing if you can't mentally put it together. So Floyd fights Zab coming off the Baldomir loss( a fight Zab should have never gotten under those circumstances) when there was a Cotto and Margarito sitting there the public was screaming for.

This is the problem a lot of people have with Floyd being that he always seems to take the less risky route and not fully testing himself, than turning around and calling himself the greates. He retired during a time when the Pacquiao,Margarito, and Cotto were all fighting each othe in there primes.

People also look the last time you had similar talent at welter to jr middle when Oscar was fighting Quartey,Trinidad, and Mosley in his prime. Moving up and fighting B-Hop at middleweight.

Quartey fought Vargas and Oscar in there primes.

Vargas fought Trinidad,Oscar,Quartey, and Mosley in there primes.

Trinidad was fighting Oscar,Vargas, moving up fighting B-Hop( I was not a Trinidad fan at all)

Mosley fought Oscar twice,Vargas twice(granted the second time Vargas was already past his best), Winky Wright twice,Vernon Forrest twice.

You see the trend? People wanna know why Floyd with all his talent has refused to do the same and take thee route less risky. He very well may have beaten Mosley in his prime,Cotto, and Margarito, and mabe Pac, but with the exception of Pac to this point we will never know with the others, and thats the problem.
Im not a Floyd hater it's just the truth
