He has avoided the two best fighters at 140 in bradley and alexander and the best at 147 in mosley to take on joshua clottey. And, in spite of the fact that idiots like you will claim that mayweather has avoided paul williams, i haven't hear pac, arum or freddie roach mention a single word about pac fighting paul williams or anyone mentioning anything about cotto fighting paul williams.

I am sure you and the other clowns on this site will say that mayweather avoided cotto, leaving out the part about him trying to secure a fight with cotto at 140. You were claiming that he was ducking mosley, but since he beat his ass, you now claim that he waited until mosley was too old. However, you will leave out the part about how he offered mosley the fight in 2006 and 1999. You will also leave out the part about how roach refused to put pac in the ring with mosley because mosley is "too good". You will say he avoided margarito, a man who had his ass handed to him by the man whose ass mayweather just beat. And i don't think i need to mention paul williams.


Neither you nor any of the other clowns on this site know a damn thing about mayweather's career. Most of you have probably only been following boxing for two or three years and think you are experts. I have been following floyd for his entire career. Floyd beat the best fighter at 130 (corrales), 135 (castillo), 147 (baldomir and judah) and 154 (oscar de la hoya). He offered hatton and cotto a fight at 140. Both turned it down. He also wanted to fight kostya tyszu, but he chose to fight hatton instead. Floyd hasn't ducked anyone. However, you can't say the same for your god, manny pacquaio.

Mayweather has atleast 18 champs to former world champ in his career. I don't want to hear people bring up a couple of punk ass welterweights he didn't fight. How come he is excuse of ducking that cheating ass Margarito? Margarito been a pro as long as mayweather. Margarito should have been a bigger name at welterweight before Mayweather got there? Cotto fight still can happen. Then you got Mosley jumping in the ring and trying to call Mayweather out and Mosley got that ass whupped. Floyd can fight as many out of prime or out of natural weight class as he wants. Throwing out a name doesn't mean the same if the opponent was not at or near his prime.

Example: You mention Mosley who was turning 39 and didn't fight for 1.5 years. That was not the Mosley people knew ..... so Floyd beat a 39 year old version of the real Mosley. That's all.

Example: Larry Holmes has a bigger name on his resume, Ali ..... but the Ali who fought Holmes was not, as he called himself, the greatest, not even close!!!

There are probably a lot of guys that wanted to fight him, but their promoters wouldn't let them, and wouldn't make the deal. If you were a promoter, would you want to put your fighter in the ring with Floyd, and have him made to look like an amateur? Fighting Floyd really doesn't do anything to improve the careers of fighters. There are guys that can look great losing, but not against Floyd. Don't blame the fighters, blame the promoters. I really don't think many fighters are afraid to step in the ring with each other. It's the promoters that control the fights.
