        personally i have to strongly disagree with that, i have explained why on here in the past.......but i really can't be bothered going into detail atm......maybe i will make a thread about it when i feel more energetic.

          The topic can be perceived many ways though.

          Non-Technical as in a pure fighter with little boxing technique? Maybe a guy like George Foreman comes to mind.

          Or

          Non-Technical as in a fighter like RJJ whos talent consisted of way more athlethic prowess and very little technique.

            Tommy Hurricane Jackson had no visibel boxing skill whatsoever and got a #1 heavyweight rankings. His punches were like long sticks randomly poking at his opponent weakly but relentlessly. He always punched moving backward and ineffectivley. But his stamina, reach and iron chin gave him the quality wins over Ezz, Norkus and Layne.

            If he had just been able to pull out the close decision over Patterson (who had a broken hand) in the first fight he could have been heavyweight champion of the world, craziness.

              Both... I feel like the keys to technique are hands up in defense, jab starting things and straight punches with the right hand and the left hook thrown correctly.
