When Marciano actually died he had a couple of millions in silver buried and they never found it because he never told anyone. It was precation for war and habits from the depression and not want anyone stealing his money that he was seemingly short on.

Frank Sinatra had mob ties but people still loved the man. Marciano was involved in some of that stuff but I rather be friends with the mob compared to pissing them off. Just because you are friends with the mob doesn't mean your are a bad guy or invovled in that stuff.

Marciano was a respectable fighter.
