Had some non-boxing fan friends over last night, and frankly I was embarrassed.

it was pretty bad i wasn't expecting corrales castillo though
another night i stayed up to watch some bull**** what with williams v cintron and pacquiao clottey the most enjoyable fights i have seen live recently was cotto vs foreman and martinez v pavlik and they weren't exactly incredible
ward's hitting and holding combined with green being a complete disgrace to the sport made for a snore fest i don't blame you for switching it off
what are you talking about, that was pure entertainment!!!!Comment

I'm one of the biggest boxing fans ever, and we had a dinner party last night that happened to be on the same night as the fight, so I had the fight on while my guests were here. They couldn't believe how bad the Ward/Green fight was. I don't think I've done this in a while, but I turned off the TV at round 6 it was so bad. I had no interest in watching the rest whatsoever. They just looked at me and said this is the worst thing I've ever seen.
They don't hate boxing, but that fight didn't help.
Thoughts?
c'mon man, didn't you see ward/kessler? why'd you invite them to another ward hugfest?Comment

Everyfight doesnt have to be a toe to toe war for me to be entertained.
I dont mind a guy showing off his inside fighting ability. It was beautiful to watch Ward work him over the inside.Comment

The fight was kind of boring as it was clear what was going to happen but I sat through it, though I could see why I wouldn't if I had some people who weren't boxing fans. That's why I only watch boxing by myself (last night) or with other boxing fans.Comment
