So Ricky hatton really did get ripped off by Cortez..

Do you agree?? Ward hit green at will while getting mauled to death and the ref didn't do a damn thing. Meanwhile poor ricky got separated and warned everytime he initiated clinch and attempted to hit floyd in the clinch.

LOL but don't get me wrong floyd would have beaten hatton regardless by TKO but I just wanna know which is which. Is it legal or illegal??

Excessive clinching is illegal but the way those announcers and the ref were acting, You'd think it was perfectly within the rules.

it's true though, Referee's should be consistent. He broke up Hatton and PBF but let Ward and Green go at it on the inside. I think if Hatton was allowed to fight on the inside then the fight would have went 12 rounds. Hatton wouldn't have been KO'd as he would have landed more punches, weakened Mayweather and wouldn't have got tagged as much himself. Hatton would still have lost the fight though, maybe 8 rounds to 4.

Hatton can fight Mayweather in his house, his father being the referee,Matthew carrying the spit bucket, his mom giving him a massage and will still get knockoed out by Mayweather

Cortez really f.ucked Hatton I agree but Mayweather dominated what little inside action there was allowed anyway, but still.

But we knew this, he lets Hopkins initiate 2.8 million clinches in the Calzaghe fight. He's a hometown ref. And bent as a crowbar.

                  Here's how it works.

When a white fighter does it it's called wrestling/hugging/club fighting.

When a black does it it's called skill/inside fighting/boxing clinic.

Cortez did an atrocious job of refereeing that night. He is an awful ref. Mayweather beats him under any circumstances, but this is the truth.
