The same way Ward is allowed when fighting in Oakland?

Dumbass, Green could have pushed Ward off of him at any time. In fact, I was sitting there watching the fight asking myself, 'why is Green laying on the ropes instead of pushing Ward off.' He chose to lay on the ropes. Green was fighting back. He just didn't have the skill to beat Ward. Even when they fought in the middle of the ring, Green didn't do a damn thing. He didn't use his four-inch reach advantage. He waited on Ward to throw punches and often didn't throw back. He didn't throw combinations and he rarely threw the left hook. He didn't act like he wanted to win the fight from round 1. If your ****** ass knew anything about boxing, you would know that Green was not an innocent victim. I would have preferred it if the ref hadn't allowed all the clinching, but Green was doing just as much and didn't do a damn thing to stop it when Ward layed on him on the ropes.

stop acting like a vagina for a second man. Cortez broke them up everytime they clinched meanwhile I just saw ward pummel green while excessively holding. you must feel for ricky do you? who knows he might have made it more competitive?

the officiating made zero difference in that fight. Zero. They fought inside quite alot without Cortez breaking up the action, watch the fight again. Floyd got the better of him everytime........he used his elbows and his shoulders inside.....he beat Hatton @ his own game and it had nothing to do with Cortez.

LOL but don't get me wrong floyd would have beaten hatton regardless by TKO but I just wanna know which is which. Is it legal or illegal??
Hatton should have moved to Oakland.

No.....he broke them up when they held on to each other.....and it was actually Mayweather who initiated the holding alot of the time to blunt Hatton's offense. When they both fought inside cleanly Cortez allowed it. I have seen the fight many many many times. The more times you watch it the more you realise he had no bearing on the outcome. When i watched it the first time my reaction was that Cortez wasn't giving Ricky a fair shake at certain times, however after watching it for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th......time you realise he had no bearing or influence at all. He let Hatton fight inside alot........it didn't help him. He was losing inside and outside.....he was out muscled and out skilled.

Cortez did allow some inside fighting after hatton got battered and tired and looked finished,
