Yo Hitman! Haven't seen you in a long time mate! Don't worry, I'm just cracking up at these p**** that have weird double standards. It was an amazing performance by Ward. That **** takes serious know-how and training.
It was still a ****ing awful fight though. Green should be kicked out and Bute let in. Guy has good skill, fast and powerful. Would be a great addition.
Unlike some of these other wanks, I can get away from knowing what's happening and still recognise that I'm watching a ****ing awful fight, no matter how skilled one guy is and how well he does certain things.
Really looking forward to his next fight.
I want to see a little bit more of everything from Ward and I believe he will see him cut down on the holding as he matures as a fighter. I dont think it is a necessity for him to win I just think it is a comfort zone for him and until someone can fight back on the inside he has little incentive to stop.
In both cases with Kessler and Green, there was a pattern of Ward holding early but as the fight goes on more and more it is the opponent who is either initiating clinches or refusing to let Ward out of them.
In this fight I would say Ward was responsible for 2/3 on the clinches in the 1st 4 rounds and Green was responsible for 3/4 of them in the last 8 rounds.
I dont think Bute should be let in at this point as he would not be able to advance under any circumstance. It just wouldn't make any sense whatsoever.
IMO... Ward will beat Dirrell in what is essentially the "Final before the Final" and if that happens and Dirrell is eliminated I believe that a fight between Lucian Bute and Andre Dirrell will end up being a bigger and more intriguing fight than any of the remaining matches.
If this happens it will make The Super 6 look silly and fans will have nobody but the idiots who robbed Dirrell against Froch to blame.Comment

I like Ward, he's a geniune guy (but not fighter), he's from Northern California, i'm from Northern California.
But this guy is a sloppy dirty fighter. Starjammer is right, him using his head would be distracting and he holds waaaay too much. He's not exciting at all. Dirrell is going to put something different on him come September.Comment
