Dirrell will throw punches and some of them will not be seen. Also from many different angles. I even think he can be stopped.
my man ward aint open for straight punches when coming in. he keeps his hands up and ducks, falls in when he throws his lead right.

        not that much.
also, the shoulder roll is not as vulnerable to straight punches as you would think. moreso looping punches.
ward is almost always in a good defensive position. even when coming forward.

I agree it all depends on Dirrell's mental game but I believe he will get up for this fight lets just hope he doesn't gas out b/c whatever Victor Conte has Ward on he can fight all night.

This has the making of being a great boxing match. Dirrell is quite possibly the most gifted boxer at 168 and Ward is the best and most well rounded boxer at 168. But even though Dirrell has the athletic gifts and talent he still is a work in progress and is not quite ready to defeat Ward. Ward simply has too much diversity in his fight game and is better at all facets of the game than Dirrell. I see a Ward SD over Dirrell. And in 1 year to 2 years time this will be the mega match to be made in this division. I don't think Andre Dirrell quite realizes how good he can actually be. As good as he is now he still has a lot of defiencies in his game and once he starts filling those holes is gonna be a beast.

Dirrell could give Ward trouble in some rounds. But, I don't see Dirrell beating Ward at all.

lol... no it would not... Come on lets not be silly....

Eirrell is too nervous of a fighter, he gets in his panic mode. Maybe if he was a s calm and collected, and confident and as focus as Ward. Then yea I could see it. But, he is not. For all Dirrell talent he is just to nervous of a fighter. His talent and attributes might Kind of be Roy-esque. But, his mentality and confidence level is not even close to Roy-esque...
