Ward can beat Froch... I even think Ward could stop Froch. At this point. The only guy I can see beating Ward in the tourney is AAComment

Abraham might be the biggest danger for him. He can handle the boxers, but can he take that monster of a right hand from Abraham?Comment

Again F L I C K, Ward can mixed it up. He can actually box from the outside or fight tough on the inside. We haven't seen Direll to that. So to compare how Direll fought Froch and how Ward would fight him, itsn't really accurate. And I just read your last post, again, please don't compare Taylor and Ward. Please don't.
I never compared Taylor to Ward. I said ask Taylor how the "I'm gonna swing for the fences" game plan worked out. That isn't comparing the two. It's like saying, ask Baldomir how the bully game plan works against Floyd. It's simply a game plan that doesn't work well, if at all, against a certain fighter.
And my statement with Dirrell in the quote you had is very reasonable. It isn't comparing the two boxers(dirrell and ward), I was mentioning the fact that only Nottingham England expected Froch to beat Dirrell. Meaning, underdog.
Also, I know he can mix it up, he is an intelligent guy. I like Ward too, I just like Froch more. I only fear that Ward will change the game plan mid fight. I don't think Froch can adjust to it, if Ward does that. But I haven't seen Ward display that awareness yet, either that or he never had to adjust like that to date.Comment

I'm not making him out to be a ninja, I'm giving my honest opinion. I could easily say that you are doing the same to Froch, since we disagree.I understand you guys like Ward, I do too but damn. You guys actin like he is some magical ninja that can dodge air.
Everything he does fits right into Froch's style. Standing in front of you, predominant mid-range, rather block than evade. Even the inside game. He isn't gonna do what he did against Green. Froch won't just sit there and let him lean against him. If Froch can't work he will start rabbit punching the **** out of him, trust.
Ward's best bet is trying to out box Froch. If he fights anything like he did with Kessler and Green. I would favor Froch to beat him in a ugly fight with a decision win. Your not gonna out-ugly a naturally ugly boxer. Your not gonna out **** him either. Ask Jermain Taylor how that game plan turned out.
We will have to wait and see. Thanks to you guys, I want to see Froch-Ward more than anything else. More than Pacquiao and Floyd now. Just wait and see. You will be disappointed in Ward, either that or scream robbery. Like all the Dirrell fans did.
Froch will find it tough to rabbit punch if Ward's head is right on his chest, under his chin, with his propped up. Also, early on in the fight, when he was fighting from distance, Ward was slipping under the punches Green threw.
My belief is that Ward is capable of fighting any at distance with Froch and win. You may not agree with it, but hey, it's your opinion.
I wouldn't say Taylor tried to square up and out**** him. Taylor basically stood in front of him the entire fight and tried to jab and counter. Taylor showed him no angles, something Ward is capable of doing. The only problem is, Ward has more dimensions to his game and is a better fighter now than that version of Taylor, IMO.Comment

Ok, cool. But Ward isn't going to have a "swing for the fences" gameplan.I never compared Taylor to Ward. I said ask Taylor how the "I'm gonna swing for the fences" game plan worked out. That isn't comparing the two. It's like saying, ask Baldomir how the bully game plan works against Floyd. It's simply a game plan that doesn't work well, if at all, against a certain fighter.
Right, he hasn't HAD to adjust yet. But I truly believe he has the ring smarts and intelligence to do it if he really needed to. If Froch were somehow to get lucky (And my statement with Dirrell in the quote you had is very reasonable.
I only fear that Ward will change the game plan mid fight. ) and beat Ward, would it be a UD?
