Giving a guy, who is at his peak and at the top of his game, who holds 7 titles in 7 different weight divisions, who just won fighter of the decade, who actually brings excitement to the fight anything less is disrespectful.

prior to mosley- may fight, all pacquiao fans here wanted to make the split according to PPV numbers of may vs. mosley and pac vs. cotto .

mayweather made 1.4 and pac made 1.25, depending on these numbers , mayweather should get 53% and pacquaio 47% , you do the calculation .
this what pacquiao fans here wanted prior to may- mosley , not me .
for me i think 55% -45% is reasonable .

i hear what you are saying but this is not about who brings the most excitement and titles or whatever.
it is about ppv numbers at the end of the day.
m.katsidis is entertaining but he could never get 50/50 with floyd.its not about all that bros.at the end of the day,money talks and ppv numbers has almost always been the main basis of a purse split.you got to understand that.
thats why everyone used to have to take a smaller split when fighting oscar..now the new oscar is floyd.
all that being said if the fight can get done 50/50,i could care less but i am just pointing out the facts of how they base who gets the more money.

listen,it is not that i care what the money split is.
it is more my opinion on why Manny is asking for more money which is now holding up the negotiations.i just dont feel he can demand 50/50 when he aint a ppv star like floyd.numbers don't lie.
so he should just take 55/45 to make this fight happen.
oh yeah,he doesnt fight for the money either,he fights for his fans so why he stalling???
